CHEERS PAL my mate owns a dog called love night 50% strike rate in opens pall mall semi finalist did third fastest trial out of 36 dogs and did not get in he is now talking about sacking the game the trouble is if your not a top name in this sport then you dont get a run shocking when you have travelled over 300 mile round trip to trial

I backed it in the first round of the pall mall showed great early and middle pace..sunderland would of suited down 2 the ground..cant believe it hasnt been accepted..especially after such a great trial.

Ideally it should be more than 36 dogs for the 450m and 640m festival races...thats the problem there will always be unhappy owners who dont get selected when its only 36 dogs knowing how many will be entering chasing £25k/15k for both events.
Just had look on Data...yr right his EP would be major asset to Sunderlands 1st bend...looking at his form I'm surprised he didnt get in with his trial and he has 8 open wins in the UK. |

impressive entries, gotta say i like Droopys Zach in the grad prix @14's ew, not many "happy to chase" in line up, with a short running targets he will love, can't see the circuit being too much of a problem for him he can change stride with ease and not lose too much ground
had a small double with lyreen mover @16's to win classic, great bend runner awesome trials at oxford type of track perfect, a flat out bend runner has a massive edge over the 450 here gl all |

Chris...apparently over 100 entries for the Festival...might be indication of why your mates struggled to get in.
Pity they couldnt have a 450m Plate event for dogs who didnt get in as its a kick in the teeth for the folks who travelled up for trials then didnt get a race. Also the times are worth watching....Taylors Cruise won in 27.72 (-10) after being quickly away...now its a 26.90-27.10 dog and ran well and they showed going as -10...when it was much worse. Apparently track wasnt in greatest of nick. |

Dont think Sunderland is ideally suited to Artisan Donemylot....big galloping type cirucits will suit this boy better than Sunderland.
Could be some bumping at the 1st...the 2 dog cracked out early last Sat as well and its just as well Sniper is N/R or it could have been dodgy for the fav. |
