Here’s a question, and I’ve tried to find out myself but no luck! I’ve backed s palmers picks in this event so have got £4 ew at 200/1 with Skybet on Lawrence so have started to lay him on the exchange….is there a possibility that the skybet bet could be voided but the exchange bet stands so could actually end up losing?!!
|

nah you have nothing to worry about, a firm like paddy power might refund the withdrawals if the the publicity is worth more than the bets they took

From Skybet rules ''The tournament winner will be the player that receives the trophy, as long as an official result is confirmed by the governing Golf Tour. The result of any playoff to determine this will count, however if there is no further play after a bet has been placed, it will be made void.'' https://support.skybet.com/s/article/Golf-Rules
All bets on the the win market on the exchange stand after 36 holes have been played(assuming this is still considered a European Tour event) |

Have to be closing in on abandonment here and a 36-hole result. As far as I can tell it’s around 4hr45 until sunset in Joburg, and at least four hours would be needed to get three-balls to finish. Forecast seemingly gets better but time is running out. |

3 balls takes 4 hours
sunset in 3 hours 45 36 hole winner will probably be declared |
