Hi guys, I appreciate that before one makes a bet you should know the rules, but I thought cash out on Betfair was a simple matter. So I backed Russell Henley to win the Wyndham(,£44@38) wins about £1480,so I thought a cash out of £696 was reasonable and so I pressed the cash out button and now my balance has been credited with £44????????

Exchange and Sportsbook two totally different type of cashouts,

You have in effect traded Henley for a positive position

Sportsbook cash out pays you and finishes bet

Exchange cash out alters your finishing
position and you get paid when
tournament finishes

The 44quid exposure is removed
so available  balance goes back up.
