Southwind always favoured the better tee-to-green players which to me is Morikawa all day. Won't be priced in the mid 30's forever so make hay while the sun shines imo, especially on tracks such as this that fit his profile.

Having a tougher time toward the head of the market, Bryson getting into the awfully tempting range on here, the layers are taking him on.

Traded Hovland and Horschel as well, i like Billy to get amongst it this week.

I like this tournament, and as someone who is approaching one’s 70th Birthday, I care less how people think of how I make my selections.
I have participated in punting from an early age, but over the last 25 years I have taken a strong interest in Astrology. I combine my knowledge of punting and Astrology to make my Selections.

So here goes, I think the winner will come from a Scorpio. He must be in contention at the end of Days twos Golf.
Those that fit the criteria as follows.

Jon Rahm @13 obviously playing well,
Xander Schauffele @ 21 (26 taken)
Jason Day @ 65
Marc Leishman @ 80

I have had smaller bets on the following as prices are high
Joaquin Niemann @ 120 (130 taken)
Max Homa @150
Chez Reavie @ 150 (180 taken)
Adam Hadwin @ 230
C T Pan @ 610

Good Luck to all that play, let’s hope for an Excellent Tournament

A footnote to the above, the Winner will probably be Leading at the end of Day 3 play.
Let’s hope it’s a Scorpio, and then have the Mental Strength to go on and Win.

This sort of track i see the cream rising, hard to see past the big 4, which doesn't suit my style at all.

so i have punted my whole team on the W/O Bryson DeChambeau,Rory McIlroy,Jon Rahm,Justin Thomas Market

T.hatton 22/1 - win 28/1
M.Fitzpattrick 25/1 - win 30/1
I.Poulter 66/1 - win 70/1
M.Wallace - 75/1 - win 80/1
R.Palmer - 75/1 - win 100/1
P.Mickleson - 80/1 - win 100/1
B.Todd - 85/1 - win 100/1
C.Reavie - 95/1 - win 100/1

Think the odds are very fair seens getting rid of the top 4 in the market....

Good luck, just need to ask betfair for a WithOut Scorpios market now Wink

Hatton and Berger for me, both at 34s. Hatton has really impressed me both with his game and mental strength. Backed him for all the majors just in case. Good luck all

Yes s99 regarding Hatton, used to run very hot, temper wise. Impressed me in the AP Inv, showing metal. He has the game and now possibly the attitude. Definitely one to watch over the next 12 months. Spot the Dog persuaded me to back Leishman this week too (and 1st round leader). Cribbage - 20p on with sportsbook LaughLaugh

I certainly enjoy his meltdowns. Always lacked class as a guy and now he's got the golf game to match- all power no touch these days.

Fair play to Coley-  tipped up Brooks - was a great price, but I wondered about the knee etc - sometimes you overthink the prices eh Sad

Turned his tee shot over into trees. When he arrived at ball it was between 2 fallen twigs....horrible lie. He saw an ant leaving a hole about 2 foot from his ball and wanted to claim a animal burrow/ hole. Called the ref over claiming he was stood in a animal hole. I'm sure you'll see it tomorrow mate...it'll be all over the media

People seem very confident in brooks, but I'm interested  in how he does tomorrow, he wins tournaments with charges from behind, thinking he's unproven from the front, the sometimes pars good mentality to protect may not be his thing

I've had a complete turnaround in view as far as Dsham goes....LUV HIM....LET THE LAD PLAY WARTS N ALL...

Fact is the game of golf is jam packed with characters, they've always been there, Do you think Seve didn't argue the toss with officials if a decision wasn't going his way? them Boys would sell their own mother's to gain a shot....

The only difference is now we are privileged to be able to see and hear it...

I play a version  of golf at a High handicap, these Boys are artists, play/act yourself whoever you may be, better that way, I will still watch in awe of most of it...
