GO IN THE HOLE, oh how I miss it, cheers.

Yeah, can't say I really missed fans. Colonial final day did feel flat, but that's probably because nothing that great happened, a few bigger names didn't really get into it and the tournament down the stretch was decided by a series of mistakes more than good play (Berger aside) - not sure where the roars would have occurred even with fans in attendance.
Will be interesting here to see if the big names have the patience for Harbour Town. Struggling to find any real pre-off plays but looking forward to getting underway. |

Good luck TB, hopefully all goes well in running for you so you may stock up on Tim Tams
![]() I hear they are all the rage over there at the minute ![]() |

Kisner matched for decent money at 90s earlier in the week and people now taking 44s. I know he's been tipped in some circles but geez, sheep mentality at it's finest.

So much for the Jordan revival

Death, taxes and Donald at Harbour Town.

Did you join in TB?
|
By:
Doesn't really look interested does he.
|
By:
Was thinking just that Rhino. Took him on a touch but not heavily, oh well.

Ernie and VJ flying the flag for the old boys. Bodes well for my speculator on KJ.

Speaking of speculators... go Sam

Webb needs to calm it a little - still have some PTSD from the Finau mugging

DJ triple and Rahm wet

Conditions look perfect, good opportunity for the early starters who scored well yesterday to do some damage. Have thrown a bit on Hughes starting on the front 9.
|
By:
Webb looking on here.

Two very good rounds, lot of work for the afternoon guys to do now. Jordan can't afford any trademark howlers.
|
By:
so much for shambles not being able to brute his way around here
|
By:
Poults sweating up badly on the range (again)
|
By:
Morikawa appears to have just missed a 2 foot par putt, you wonder how much last week will get in his head for a while.
|
By:
so watney has the rona, I wonder if he was spitting all over the course like some of his co-players.
|
By:
Squeaky bum time for List and Taylor after going 18 with him yesterday.
|
By:
Very tricky now for the tour if he's been going about the property for a few days carrying the virus. Especially when the players don't seem to care that much for social distancing. Any more positives and we could be done again.
|
By:
think so, the whole us is rancid with it at the moment, multiple states with new record highs.
|
By:
Thing is, even if they do tests now anyone he's infected won't be showing positive yet. Must be a bit of doubt over next week, can you put them all on a plane to Travelers not knowing who may or may not have been in contact with it this week?
|
By:
what a tw@t - felt symptoms but decided to play anyway ffs
|
By:
Presumably if they arranged the test off-site they then gave him permission to go to the course to warm up with symptoms while waiting for his results. Beggars belief, really, could end up in the whole tour being shut down.
|
By:
Just reading about Watney and apparently a couple of baseball teams have shut down practise facilities after players had tested positive. If golf is going to continue they may need a rethink - limited fields playing in pairs only and spaced tee times to limit the crowds on the range, preferred lies in bunkers and no rakes and ffs, no spitting. DJ and Brooks can stay at home for a while.
|
By:
I can't believe they give them a choice to roll up separately - I really think it needs to be you all travel together, stay in same hotel etc if they are going to get going without another big stop.
Loads of college and NFL players testing positive too rhino - will be a weird season for that too |
By:
If golf can't do it Hank football has no chance. 50 something players per team all sharing a locker room and close contact sport. No chance whatsoever and shouldn't even be attempted at this point if the country is serious about stopping the spread.
|
By:
It sounds like they've asked the players to do a bunch of stuff to stay safe, like avoiding eating out, without telling them to do it, and many have just been carrying on as normal. So at least this will be the wake up call. Fingers crossed there won't be a wider outbreak and they can tighten up the rules. But if they do get away with it it'll be more luck than judgement.
