JB is such a wimp laying up. Remember his laying up from the middle of the fairway a few years back at Torrey Pines on 18 when needing a birdie to win. Made par and lost the playoff. Dude hits it a mile ffs.

It's a good question Hank. I don't know where you draw the line, somehow Saudi feels worse - I guess if you look at how Saudi treats women / minorities / gay people etc you would say their society is some way behind China, for all its problems. And at least China has some sporting tradition that makes it feel like there is legitimate reason to be playing sport there beyond just a money grab. I'm uneasy with these appearance fee events anywhere though, feels wrong when some guys have already pocketed more for showing up than the winner will for winning.
