I just checked last year - Palmer -10 going in to the w/e just like last year - he shot 75 and a t13 overall - I don't think he will be leading going in to tomorrow - certainly has been backed in since the end of play though

Tiger prowling

Tiger 2 back

Tiger drops to 3 back, sneds and Palmer not looking too sharp early on
|
By:
Had a go at Morikawa @30's,first play. Wide open.
|
By:
I don't know why I'm surprised by this but Bradley's putting for the last two days has been pathetic.
|
By:
Rahm is making a tough course and a world class field all look pretty ordinary.
|
By:
Should probably have won last time - didn't he get off to a shocker on sun and then it was too late when he sorted himself out
|
By:
Could get to -14 the way he's striking it and really put some distance in.
|
By:
Nice fight back from sneds
|
By:
Feels like some drama in store with this one. You just know Tiger will make some sort of a run.

KR - I would love to think so...having loaded up with Rahm lays from 3 down....
Think there are a good number in the pack capable of going low....love to know which one but one will do! |
By:
This might be crazy talk, but, 4 shots back, just outside the top 5, maybe, just maybe, big Tony is where he needs to come from to finally find a win?
|
By:
Let's keep that as crazy talk TB! he is my only danger near the top
|
By:
What's weather like today? Is it a little windier as predicted yesterday? That might bring a few mistakes out however I can only see a Rahm win, Palmer ain't doing this so he has a 3 shot lead and with a moderate round he stays out in front.
|
By:
Don't think it's that breezy unless it picks up later in the day. Quite hard to see past Rahm but would be nice if he brings the pack back in, anything can happen round Torrey.
|
By:
Never a dull moment with Tiger. How's that come back out?
|
By:
Finalgroupitis?
|
By:
Go on Leish

By:
Wide open now.
|
By:
Rahm a different player playing with the lead on a Sunday in PGA tour events. Has all the talent required to be a runaway world no 1, except between the ears. Still plenty of time to figure it out though.
|
By:
This might test Rahm's famously calm temperament.
|
By:
What a collapse.
|
By:
jesus
|
By:
didnt see this coming from rhambo
|
By:
Of all the players out there.....Rahm probably is one of the few that could come back from that....just got out of that hole....
|
By:
One of the more acute cases of finalgroupitis I've seen so far, should put these lads in quarantine.
|
By:
If Tiger sinks that putt the place is gonna go nuts.
|
By:
will never forget the year I got totally fecked in this event by Sir Kyle Stanley, 3up going down the last and loses in a playoff, yeh cheers Kyle!
|
By:
Stuff of legend is Stanley. Then won the next week. Golf is a ridiculous sport...

Bubba a terrific price here, safely through the difficult 7th and dancing on 8. For no reason went from mid 20s to mid 40s a minute ago.

Deja vu for Rahmbo on the sun rd
|
By:
wow +4

Shot Bubba. Driver off the deck, god I wish I could do that. Can barely get in more than 10 feet off the ground when I try it.
|

Here comes Rory
|
By:
Thought we might see a runaway. Didn't think it would be Leishman.
