Probably pointless, but going to start a thread anyway cos I think this is an interesting event - good field and dry, breezy conditions that could provide a bit of a challenge.  Hubbard is my main guy with a few more morning starters based on forecast.  Looking forward to an avalanche of interesting thoughts and discussion.

Hubbs bogey-double since I posted.  The forum might be dying but the curse lives on.

So you're skipping 3 days of Adam dominating the tournament and just joining for the bit where he misses putt after putt and finishes T3?  See you Sunday.

A very speculative punt on Philly Mick to come back to life in California and will like playing to the crowd in a pro am with popular partner.

You know you've had a bad start when every single one of your pre-tournament bets gets beat by Tony Romo.  Fair play, though, -2 an impressive effort.

The ponce at 4s going into round 2 was 1 of the funniest prices I have seen in a long timeLaugh must have been a good 5 years since the ponce got over the lineLaugh Market was on crack!

Took champ at 10, only play, just glad he's not paired with dechambeau.

Evening TB (and anyone that is still hanging about) who you cheering for tonight? Lays of the two Nick's for me right now.

Evening Hank, much of a muchness among the main guys for me at the moment, got a few outsiders (Sloan, Blair, Percy, Zhang) who I wouldn't mind popping in a score.  Sounds like the wind's going to pick up a good bit down the stretch so if Champ falters anything could happen.

I was reading about Champ's grandpa being in hospice right now - I hope he wins just for that tbh. Never easy to work out how off course stuff will affect a player. Kicking myself for not taking the ponce on Thu. Been busy with ncaaf/nfl between then and now - impressive fall away by him.

Solid par putt to not give the birdie back for Champ

Yeah, financially indifferent but got to root for Champ in the circumstances (although I wouldn't mind him making a game of it first).  He's been pretty open about struggling to cope with the pressure after winning last year and all the hype that came with it so a second win would be a big boost for him.

What was the tourny where Champ was in final pr and put in a shocker?
By:

When: 29 Sep 19 22:42
Not sure but he wasn't that hot in contention other than the win.  Could use a fairway here, only just holding it together with the putter at the moment.

I'm not rooting as hard for him now as I was 20 minutes ago.
