very weak event, because all the good players are elsewhere... therefore it feels like a great chance for berger to get his career back on track. been completely overshadowed by the likes of JT and Spiffy from the same generation but still retains potential.

also usual bets on bozelli and Lashley.

I rant about this every year, but this field is far weaker than it really should be, barely up to Web standards.  So many guys desperate for a tour win with its many benefits yet so few show up to what could be the best chance odds-wise they have all year.  Where are (say)Luke List or Beau Hossler or Sam Burns or JJ Spaun or Keith Mitchell, good players who would love to break their tour duck, but who think this is beneath them when it would actually be a huge chance to take a step forward in their careers.

berger trying to set a score in the clubhouse but doubt it will be enough, unless leaders make mistakes.

difficult to eagle a 630 par five but he probably needs it Sad

Huge result for Trainer, had a poor start to his tour career and now secured a card for 2 two years and can relax.

Just for the record...
1st MARTIN TRAINER -15 F -5 70,67,69,67 - 273

T2 Baddeley, Aaron -12 F E 70,68,66,72 - 276
T2 Berger, Daniel -12 F -6 70,71,69,66 - 276
T2 Sloan, Roger -12 F -5 70,67,72,67 - 276
T2 Wagner, Johnson -12 F -3 69,69,69,69 - 276 (Mr consistent)

T6 Schwartzel, Charl -11 F -6 71,68,72,66 - 277
T6 Stefani, Shawn -11 F -7 70,71,71,65 - 277
T8 Crane, Ben -10 F -2 68,69,71,70 - 278
T8 Lashley, Nate -10 F +1 68,68,69,73 - 278

TRAINER making his tournament debut, PGA TOUR Rookie and World #286 bags his first PGA TOUR title in only his 11th career event as he posted a 5-under-par, up two places on the day and good for a three-shot victory over runners-up Daniel Berger (66), Roger Sloan (67), Johnson Wagner (69) and overnight leader Aaron Baddeley (72).
The 27yo is the third rookie to win this season - a two-year exemption and no Web.com reshuffle - joining Cameron Champ and Adam Long. Martin, a French-born American and Southern Cal student, was a candidate for Web.com Player of the Year last season. For the week, he tallied 23 birdies, No. 1 in that stat, versus eight bogeys.

Trainer's story is pretty incredible.  Had no status on the Web last year, Monday qualified for a Web tournament (after a play-off), won it to get Web status, went on a run of MCs then won again to guarantee promotion to the PGA tour, missed most of his cuts now pops up and wins again, now exempt for 2 years.  Fair play to him.
