Watched a lot of golf but IMO that rivals any choke i have ever had the misfortune to witness...To do the same again in playoff is quite frankly laughable,doesnt deserve the rewards that will come his way. Embarrassing...Truly woeful golf under pressure.

Been watching Shinkwin all year, like many of the youngsters cant put 4 rounds together. Based on this I backed Rafa on the back nine and sat back and waited for the choke, no disrespect to Shinkwin but the form begged to go against him. when he was on 17 I thought well done lad you proved me wrong and went out with the dog, only realised he had choked at the line when my balance changed? Several like him, need a good sports psychologist and they will transform their careers!

In fairness been very critical but if Rafa doesnt get the biggest slice of luck this year on 18 Shinkwin doesnt reveal himself as an out n out dog because still wins.
Thought at time he didnt get wet would be crucial but was so far in didnt change and hoped he would finish it.Shouldve taken smaller losses and got out.HUGE MISTAKE by me.... Still a choking pig though. |

I have backed pre tournament four of the last tour winners at big odds, if I had let them all ride my profit would have been 9k, I have actually picked up around 3k, doesn't worry me at all as their position was far to fragile so partially layed them all. just doesn't seem to be a tournament that doesn't go down to a putt on the 72nd lately!
