Not for me.Big wide fairways for the smashers.
Target golf.Low scores.boring.

I much prefer seeing players work hard on most holes for par.
If this is the way future US opens are going to be i'll not be staying up.

I agree. My favourite tournament, watching great players grinding out pars on a tough awesome course. Something like 2 under being a great score. What were they thinking ?

I am going to 'buck the trend' here and say that I really enjoyed the whole thing.

The course was beautiful, the coverage was 'something new' and the result was 'up for grabs' right up until the last 9 holes.

This course will never play 'easier' as the weather was untypical of the area. You cannot make a golf course for 1 day's play a year.

The fescue was ridiculous and an error highlighted by Na. They had unusually high rainfall in that area and the watering of the fairways falling on the nearby fescue had made it grow 'feral' and unplayable in a few isolated areas. Normally this stuff would be 'wispy' and fun. They took the Na hint and cut. Why did the top 6/7 miss the cut.? This course was not easy. It was brilliant and a memorable feast of golfing skill by Koepka. Doctor's differ and patients die.Love

Where are you getting 'easy' from lads/lassies?

31 of field under par.
7 in double digit numbers

Final Rd Scores...Fitzpatrick76,   Thomas75,    Kaymer75, and finally Henley79   .........ask Casey and Haotong Li if this course was easy or boring...

'Most mortal golfers would not get around this place with a compass.'

This begs the question.........What do you want?

It was sh1t.

Could have been great if they narrowed the fairways 20 yards.

If this course represented a Premier league team it would be West Brom.

Winning score of -16 says it all.

To easy for a US Open.

It was a great US PGA,
Report Hank Hill June 20, 2017 10:54 PM BST
Not really. Far too many players under par for a US Open. As par says would be fine to host PGA.

It reminded me of a driving range.
Plenty of room for your drives.

I missed the tension that comes with knowing your next shot could be a potential card wrecker
Report bobweenit June 24, 2017 6:54 PM BST

When Travelers plays tougher than the US Open something's gone a bit wrong.
