Back ..........................Odds..........Stake................Profit
Shane Lowry............90.00 ........€40.00....... €3,560.00 ....(I was probably born in the same hospital, and he has a good weather draw) Charl Schwartzel,,,,,110.00......€55.20......... €6,016.80.... (3rd in the Masters) Steve Stricker............170.00......€30.00...........€5,070.00 ....(if he was 20 years younger he would be 17s not 170s) Russell Knox............375.79.....€137.84....... €51,660.56 ....(Scots won this a lot in the 1800s) Dylan Frittelli,,,,,,,1,000.00...... €62.18........ €62,117.82.... (you have to have a real outsider) David Drysdale....1,000.00........€25.00........ €24,975.00 ....(finished with 7 birdies in a row at the Irish Open. Do that for 72 holes and he wins) |

Kyle Stanley - Passed him walking the course this morning. At least I think it was him.
Joost Luiten - handles links conditions- was on about him all day to a pal who later saw a player signing autographs through a fence - he went over to get the player to sign for him and it was the mighty Joost. It's in the stars ! Richie Ramsay - handles links and good a recent performance Aaron Baddeley - Puts really well but nowt much else. One of the God squad tour members and they do pop up now and again in Majors, Webb Simpson and Cook for starters. |
By:
Going to replace the injured Snedeker with A Scott @34..............double the price of Fowler, really........

Oops *Cink of course not Cook

Its here again, the greatest sporting event in the world! The silence, the roar, the wind, the rain, the sun and the pain!
Team eventually fully loaded for tomorrow, just hope its not like last year which nothing to do with betting was just simply the worst Open in my living history! Nobody's fault just the draw left two players to fight it out, they both played great but the Open inst about 2 players fighting it out! Anyway the team, all matched to win a serious amount of money, more so my long shot which buys the new Land Rover Discovery next Monday morning! Rory McIlroy - crazy you say, maybe! He has been humiliated lately, but a player this good on home soil pretty much, past champion, its really down to holing a long putt early on before he slips into the lazy mistakes and off he will go, could win by ten! Jason Day - Almost exactly the same story as Rory! Paul Casey - Wish I had a pound for the times I have said never again with this man. Arrogant, pompous and just not likeable. But has he got some game, problem is even if he is 5 clear going into the back nine on Sunday he would probably do something pathetic, still I couldn't take him off the list, he is just so good! Alex Noren - Classy, gritty, hits the front, will stay there! Shane Lowry - Got all the game, temperament sound, length great, touch great, scrambling great, little out of form of late sadly but could have won the Irish so a good sign. Matthew Fitzpatrick - Just gets better and better all the time, may be a hint early for him, could be the time for him to breakthrough! Adam Hadwin - 550.0 Never! Am I the only one who thinks he has a very good chance? Will think of him every time I fire up the new discovery! |

Missed out on giving these three a plug - Richie Ramsay, Ryan Fox and David Drysdale well earned their place here at Birkdale, in the wind and rain at the Dubai DF Irish Open. More of the same please.
