I had a dream on Sunday night after the USPGA that Webb Simpson won this week so have bet him at 45/1 and 40/1 accordingly
Martin Laird top GB & Ireland at 7/1 as well |
By:
i gone for the obvious Bubba and also
furyk this week |

It's easier to ask me who I haven't backed in this one
|
By:
Hunter Mahan and Vijay Singh at mad odds.

I have backed about 6 players. Still not backed my 2 main fancies, Grace and Rahn. I really got impressed by Rahn , the little we have seen from him so far, but he obviously has garnered a lot of fans from his collegiate career. He has not been fazed in the least by the move to professionalism and maybe just has that little bit of class that will make him a very good player in a very short space of time. This is the last tournament for Grace before he takes a well earned break back home in South Africa. He has a nice game, talks a nice simple game, something akin to that of his fellow countryman, Ernie Els. And just in case he finds his form, a tipple E.W. on Shane Lowry now that he has reached ridiculous odds for one so talented. Bubba is Bubba so I am leaving him to his own devices.

Nice to see a few members posting their views. It helps those who are new to the forum and new members should also share their thoughts. Let us hope we get uninterrupted play without stoppages this week. I see Padraig is playing and then on to Rio for the Olympics. That man is a made to stay. Hope we hear more commentary from Paul McGinley. He really has taken his new post with Sky Sports 4 to a new level and is so knowlegable. He wants to be there, not certain about Monty. And I could watch those Stark legs all day, everyday.
This week, I will be watching some of the Ryder Cup players already as good as qualified , from both sides. Betting will be tight enough. |

Chad Campbell @ 210
Ricky Banres @ 300 |

Ended up adding Rahm and Martin to my original 3. Prefer to wait for next week for Rahm but as a win seems imminent have to have him on side.
|
By:
I have a lot to learn but Wheatcroft looks good value to me.

Big Jon don't mess about does he.
|
By:
seems to come out the blocks firing...At ease with surroundings pretty quick!
Think Europe could do worse than get him in Ryder cup team..especially if goes ahead and wins. All the usual suspects be lining up for a pick.Playing **** or not.New blood needed. Think U.S. a CERT this year either wayDigressed somewhat there. |
By:
Single figures on a Thursday AM somewhat ridiculous IMO.Rahm.
|
By:
Koepka a top twenty in world player and shorter than him....Bonkers.
|
By:
Koepkas play in last hour however has been fankly quite embarrassing...
|
By:
@therhino.... what price did you get Rahm ?
|
By:
tober - Not sure of the odds on here, but I backed Rahm at 40/1 ew (1-5) with Lads. Price was cut to 33s within half our of going up, then into 25s by Wednesday. By comparison, Corrals only opened at 20/1.
Always good value in the shops on Monday afternoons. |
By:
Once again I've got sucked into backing guys at big prices only 2-4 shots off the lead!
Marino, Ortiz, Sabbatini, Oppenheim to name but a few! |

Loupe's lead didn't last very long!

Gutted about Ben Martin. My hopes were built up when he was -5.
|
By:
Rahm no longer FAV or single figure price, remarkable prices for a rookie.Talented one for sure.needs calm his jets a tad ti win!

Like the lad myself and no doubt be real player, market wrong for me though, same with DJ coupl weeks ago,was 924 or something on friday night, few on here took advantage. |
