I agree with the OP. This is boring. Like watching the world matchplay...only 2 in it...field of bottlers too interested in trackman **** all lacking the main thing that gets the job done - balls.

delighted for henrik superb round but Mcllroy did make it amusing throwing his clubs around like the brat he is nice to see 2 good guys contending and spoilt brats given a lesson well done guys

Two players playing beyond their already high standards on an extremely tough track.

I can't think of a better standard of golf that i have witnessed. It was like two Tiger Woods going toe to toe.

Golf was superb but it was rather like a very good game of matchplay rather than a major with several contending for honours

Worst thread title ever!!Amazing days golf and fantastic championship!

It was damn good - the original post was put up after Friday afternoon when you could have watched 4 hours of golf featuring 3 of the top 4 plus many others but no-one contending for the lead, which was just about the worst session of the tournament.

Surprised that Stenson's dry sense of humour did not lead him to thank the people who made the draw for the first two rounds.

Agreed. The standard was beyond belief. Don't think we will see another performance the likes of what Phil provided that doesn't win a major. Beating the field by 11 shots and not winning, absolutely ridiculous. Will remember it for a long time, what Stenson and Phil did was as close to golfing perfection as we are likely to see from anyone not named Tiger Woods. So good as well in that it didn't end with a mistake, Henrik went and won it, Phil did nothing wrong whatsoever. Brilliant, loved every minute of it.

obviously posted after first couple of days,but wow what a turnaround best golf ive seen for many years like robots especially the last round crazy golf,deserved winner hitting 20 under deserves to win any tournament,big phil gave everything he had and still wasn't good enough,hopefully the uspga will be a great last major,i see beef got invited hes really great for golf and was a major plus at the open
