Really fancy the winner to come from Lawrie, Grace and Olesen. Proven pedigree on Lawrie and Grace and Olesen not scared of winning - back him at the odds, saved the two shorties.

Can't believe Lawrie is out to 4.5 on the back of that one bad break. Still one shot clear and proven round here. Can't leave him unpacked at that price.

Good luck then mate. Can't watch here, telecast hasn't moved on from Spieth hacking it up in Singapore. Didn't even know he was playing there this week...

Certainly no issues for Grace closing out on the Euro Tour, gotta get it done on the big stage. Will be interesting to watch this year with a full season in the US.

I think we could have a big price winner of this my  2 e/w both round the 50/1 mark are Coetzee who has a decent record in this and McDowell who has had a few quiet years but the word is he is raring to go and been practising well.

Good Luck All

DOHA GC is a Links-type par 72 of 7,400 yds designed by Peter Harradine. The greens are grainy which has tended to suit South African players as they are more used to these surfaces – think Branden Grace with two wins – more especially on this track when it gets bouncy, firm and quick. The wind is a big consideration due to the exposed nature of the course. The front nine of 3,815yds is considerably longer (by 230yds) than the back at 3,585yds. When Grace won last year he was a combined 13-under on the back nine, while only 1-under par on the front.
It all bodes well for Graeme McDowell when you see him thrash the back nine today and carded 6-under-par 36-30=66 for T3. This is the first sighting of GMAC in over two months as he teed it up from the 10th and promptly scorched his way to the turn for the low back nine of the day. (Aphibarnrat had the low front nine with 32). Graeme did get it to 7-under, gaining a shot at the 2nd but giving it back at the 6th. No doubt he’s happy to have opened his 2017 season so well - as it's only the second time in 7 first rounds that he broke 73 - and the first time he has gone sub-70 on Day 1 here. Linksy terrain of course also suits the Rathmore man. Devil
