Stan the man regularly go an extra place on PGA tour events even when others haven't in the past, usually every full field PGA tour event as far as I can tell.
For the players champ, they're going 7, when lots are playing 6, and they are only top price (a JOINT top price at that) on ONE SINGLE player. Patrick Reed at 100s if anyone is interested. Out of 145 runners, they're joint top price on ONE player, and hardly a fancied fav.
Now, they're aren't that many people who are going to sacrifice that much of a price to have a single extra place, surely? They're usually pretty good for golf, almost always best prices on 3 balls, but this is pretty bad from them. Their overround will be through the ceiling.
Just wanted to know if anyone was backing e/w with them, for example taking 20's, 7 places on Donald instead of 25's 6 places at PP, or even 28's 5 places with Joekarals.

They could offer 50 places if they want, you still can't get a proper bet on with them so it's a mirage. Just a loss-leader to get people on casino.

They closed my account years ago , but their prices are the best for horse racing generally . Having said that , anyone can put up the equivalent of "chalk" prices and then refuse to lay them .
The Nicola bird of Coral Sea fame came on the ATR last week with a "special offer" , announcing they would lay customers a £50 liability on a particular horse . Cant remember the horse , but they would only lay it to take out a fiver to me . Trade descriptions act needs to be invoked somewhere along the lines of the Aussie bookies set up . |

I must be super cr@p at betting,or either you boys bet in way bigger size than me.While I've had limits or accounts closed with other bookmakers,SJ have always taken my bets.Their prices are not always the best granted,but if I need to get a bet on they take it(Where as some of the others won't)

 It's the only bookie that's closed me down. Their horse racing prices are often the best and I couldn't help taking advantage of them. The plus side of this is that it made me realise how easy it is to get closed down so it made me stop arbing etc. |

i could tell you about 24 hours worth of stuff along the same lines about whats going on etc eaxample online fred victor stan are based on the rancid rock (gibraltar) if you have accounts at all 3 and beat the prices on horses especially or it could be any other specific sport then you will get an e-mail stating they have closed your account then all of a sudden you will get an e-mail from the other 2 stating the have closed your account within about 2 weeks imo even if you havent bet with them in the last month or so so does the data protection act have any force on the rancid rock or is there some other 'agreement this lot have amongst themselves' if they do and it can be proved then what they are doing is illegal |

I asked for a bet with them today on golf and got laid less than half what I asked for and I did not ask for a big bet by any means, goodness knows how they make it pay if they wont lay a bet.

I only bet on golf and generally manage to make it pay in a very modest way through a lot of time and effort. The current list of is:
Closed - SJ (x2), Sky***, Tote, Lads, WHill, VC (x2) and Bfred Open but strictly limited - B365 and 2nd WHill. 30% commission on here and strictly limited on Fixed Odds Sometimes I wonder why I bother... |
