Bowy looked solid You mean all the missed greens, fairways and re-positioning of large rocks? Miracle day around the greens, would be hard pressed to repeat under Sunday pressure with the win on the line.

And he still managed to get -4.

On the Betfair Exchange market, and not sure if this is a leading or following market, Kuchar has drifted from 3.15 to 3.45 in the space of 9 hours. In the meantime Bowditch has done the reverse and is now a favourite. Very hard to know how strong this market really is. I suspect many people may have no position going into today and a lot can happen in the market before the leaders tee off.

3 shots ahead so worthy favourite IMO. He is more likely to get birdies in the first 6 holes compare to Kuchar.

That's caused a bit of a rethink for me, Ski.  Still going to lay the front two. but reducing the stakes.  Good luck with yours.

Bowditch is a fascinating character, and it's hard not to root for him.  Has battled serious depression issues by the sounds of it and his 2006 might be the worst season ever on tour - he made a grand total of $11,000 dollars and such was his state of mind just walked off or didn't hand in a card 7 times in total.  Given that the tour hands out fines for such behaviour he might just be the only guy to make negative money for a season!

And yet, despite all that, this is his fifth season on the main tour, so he must be doing something ok.  You might think given his history of mental problems he's a candidate to choke, but I imagine it takes a great deal of toughness to come back from what he's come back from when many more talented guys have disappeared.  He reminds me a bit of Charlie Beljan, who likewise probably isn't the most talented golfer in the world, and also has battled his own mental problems, but who got the job done when the opportunity presented itself.

The guys we've seen chuck tournaments away recently have been guys like Rory and Adam, who look unbeatable when it's all going right, and who are probably used to everything going right, but still seem to lack a certain toughness in the heat of battle.  Of course, a three shot lead isn't that huge and it's perfectly possible he could simply not win because someone else plays better, but given what he's already overcome, I hope he takes his opportunity.

Golf channel is 1pm ET, so 6 UK.  Leaders off at 11.40 CT, so 5.40 UK.  Only missing 20 minutes of them, that's about standard.

Bowditch is not one to have the mortgage on and his chipping yesterday was freakishly good, however a 3 shot lead is decent round here where par is good on a lot of holes.

have noticed that no one is burning up the course so far, going to have a small bet on the aussie as he seems like
a good guy and want to be with him if he wins.

Liverpool 3 up, Surrey will be going wild with excitement just now.  Laugh

Wind has switched 180 from yesterday so course will be quite different by the sounds of things.  Not sure who that favours although the first thought would be that Kuch made most of his score yesterday and so that probably wouldn't suit him.

Aussies are used to playing fast running, bouncy, windy courses so this has
to be his best chance of getting it done.
