And to think we scoffed when BF put the Funkster towards the head of the market.  They knew.

Indeed Donny. Lots of people don't go the cinemas anymore, some movies aren't meant to be watched any other way. Gravity prime example. Was an experience.

I was just thinking that, the two of them standing on the tee stuck in a never-ending series of practice swings.

Who to win it from here on?

Bowy looked solid.....Kuchar need to repeat another low round.....Loupe to sneak it?

A super day for the sports enthusiast started at 12.45 at Old Trafford and just finished in Texas. Aload of entertainment in between. Raining so heavy this evening in Cashel that I think the ground is going to turn up soft tomorrow at the Curragh and will not suit the 2 yr. olds. on view. Think Tony Mc Coy may ride a winner tomorrow.

Golf book after round 3 of Valero Open as follows,

M. Bowditch    Red   €178.40.
The Field      Red   €36.40.
J. Speith      Red   €26.40.
J, Fuyrk       Green €2.24.
J. Walker      Green €10.22.
M. Kucher      Green €425.76.
Z. Johnson     Green €862.23.

Good luck to all tomorrow.

Well, Kooch is the clear favourite according to the market, its not surprising, but I highly doubt that he will be anywhere near 65 tomorrow. It will be interesting, Bowditch struggled on the back nine but his short game is unreal. Hopefully he will start strong and I can lay him :)

LOL. Forgot my €5 free sportsbook bet on Kevin Na @ 22/1. That would be ironic. Never got anything from a bookie in my life, bar a good friend.

So you never got a 'free' pen from a bookie tober?

Nope..... he has pencils tied on with string.

Is it fair to say that the Eurasia tournament died a death and will need to be re.organised for any future event. The Seve Trophy will live on and Sergio is dead right to make a statement by not playing at all this weekend. I suspect he will try like never before to win this year at Augusta.

seems set up nicely for Zach to come good tomorrow with his lowest round of the week.

@mengmeng.... I would love to see it but his putter will need to start working. I think he is trying too hard on putts and needs just to follow technique a bit more.

With the pressure on tomorrow things will hopefully return to normal around a tough track. Class will prevail and Zach doesn't have a closer in front of him so will get interesting im sure.

Bowy looked solid Crazy

You mean all the missed greens, fairways and re-positioning of large rocks? Miracle day around the greens, would be hard pressed to repeat under Sunday pressure with the win on the line.

On the Betfair Exchange market, and not sure if this is a leading or following market, Kuchar has drifted from 3.15 to 3.45 in the space of 9 hours. In the meantime Bowditch has done the reverse and is now a favourite. Very hard to know how strong this market really is. I suspect many people may have no position going into today and a lot can happen in the market before the leaders tee off.

For somebody looking for a cheap interest and not taking too much risk, a lay of Bowdich now @3.15 and maybe lay Kuchar nearer the off, as I think he will shorten, and have the rest of the field playing for you. Just a thought. The golf that I saw yesterday would lead me to believe that the current market rend is wrong but maybe I missed something behind those rocks. As a retired half decent pitch and putt player, I was pleased with the chipping style of the leader. I just cannot fathom why some ( most ) of the modern players have lost this art. Phil can still do it but it pains me to see these guys hitting wide open wedges from a few feet off a green. It is nothing short of showmanship and does not get reflected in the numbers they sign for after play. There. That is my contribution for this beautiful Sunday morning in Tipperary.

After my only pre tourney selection punt on Villegas went South (excuse the pun) very quickly yesterday i waill chance Summerhays at the prices tonight.

Doesn't look exuberant in any way but if the top 2 falter slightly (i doubt Kuch will) a couple of early birdies could get him in the mix....Looks like it should be a very entertaining last round...

Agrrr tobe, as a player who plays off 13 i dont have much room to talk about these pros short game, however the old nudge up with a 7 iron seems to have been binned for the more crowd pleasing lob flick....It ofcourse works on occasion but has to be deemed the higher tariff play each time....

I can only think of one golfer who would choose to play "A crowd pleaser", rather than the sensible shot, and that is John Daly.

Every professional golfer, in tournament golf, plays the shot that he, or she, thinks will get the thing in the hole for the lowest number. To suggest that a pro golfer would choose the wrong shot just to please the spectators is madness.

Matt Kuchar & Andrew Loupe both on the same score.

One is 3.35, the other 16.5.

I have a lot to learn before I recognize how good the 3.35 is.

how would you price up a match bet between the two today ?

Zach seems a decent price @ 32, assuming Bowditch comes back, Kuch & Summerhays won't be far away but with Johnson tonight..gl

As some point the neck is going on the line.  Either laying Bowditch or Kuchar, or both at 1bout 4/7 coupled. Or lumping on Na or Perez or both.

Hopefully Na doesn't end up in a playoff or they will have to delay the start of the Masters
