Kuchar is not the quickest either.
Na wa painful to watch last night. All that twitching and stopping doesn't inspire any confidence. It will be interesting to see how he copes under the press of leading. |
By:
Could be tough out there today.
1 birdie in 17 holes played from the early starters. |
By:
If ever leaders were going to come back to the field its today, somebody will come from deep, who?
|
By:
They kept going on about how slow Na was yesterday. Yet while he was putting out on 17. the group infront were gwtting ready to putt on 18. Hardly mile behind. Just gives them something to moan about when a lesser known player looks like he might steal the prize.
|
By:
The weather will prob change again as it did yesterday
|
By:
With 17 and 18 to play though, I wouldn't want to playing at very short odds the leader, even if he has a 3 shot lead.
|
By:
limited did you watch na last night?
It was painful. They were miles behind at one point. |
By:
Kuchar could easily have taken 6 at 17 yesterday and Na & Kuchar were both very close to the edge of disater on 17 too.
|
By:
Yes he has more practice swings than most, but they were in the final group and so the gallery following them was more than most others.
|
By:
weather right now is irrelevant..Na doesn't tee off for another 5 hours...may be clam conditions
|
By:
Slow or not, they finished within 10 minute of the group infront of them and were holding up no one.
|
By:
In my book, you do whatever it takes to win! As long as you are not cheating!
|
By:
yes he was frustrating to watch but you still get some players who take the same amount of time...10 practice swings..then take forever to hit the ball once they are over it...wasnt paying attention to how long he was taking on the greens..was he fairly quick? woods is so slow putting...as luke donald has been saying...read the greens etc whilst waiting...lot more slower things happening around the greens than kevin na's obvious problems
|
By:
Having said that if i were at the course it wouldn't have been Na's group that i went around with lol
|
By:
i suppose that depends on how much you stand to win lol
|
By:
Going to keep an eye on the scoring and weather...what i dont want is some guy shooting a -7 and the conditions getting worse..may have to back kuchar who is in between both my players with curtis in behind
|
By:
I am a trader rather than a bettor and so I don't really have a specific golfer in mind to back!
|
By:
Had a very nice trade on Sergio yesterday. I laid him at 40 when he finished his round and got to back him back at 200 without him hitting another ball.
|
By:
want Na to win and rickie to stay close...disaster would be rickie not finishing top 6
|
By:
I think Rickie will go very close, he was so confident yesterday and obviously with last week's breakthrough win on tour he has the taste for it.
|
By:
Rickie @ 5.1 is a much better proposition than Kuchar @ 2.9 in my eyes.
|
By:
Only reason i backed him this week...wasnt mega confident he would win but E/W top 6 was a no brainer at 50/1 when you have a lot of confidence..it was kind of the way i went with selections this week..avoided all the favourites and went for players who were striking the ball well
|
By:
yes i agree...kuch got a way with some bad shots down the last 2 holes..could be 2 shots worse off...rickie missed putt on 18 hurt Still think ben curtis could take this down if Na come back.
|
By:
The thing with NA is if he was struggling to let go of the driver yesterday, it is only gonna be twice as hard today as it gets nearer and nearer the winning line. I wouldn't be touching him with a barge pole at 3.8
|
By:
Adebayor scores for SPurs str8 from kick off :)
|
By:
Hmmm WBA keeper been got at lol
|
By:
|
By:
1-1
|
By:
norwich spurs wigan treble and wigan letting me down 0-1 ffs
|
By:
Kuchar very short for someone who struggles to cross the winning line often...that being said, final day at the players doesn't yield low numbers and the winner should come from top 5.Fowler is the value in my mind..played just great in the last 2 rounds and his new found winners touch should give him the edge..
As for Na...wouldn't be laying at his starting price, one of the best short games on tour and scrambling will be important today...goodluck to all... |
By:
lol 2-1 wigan..wow
|
By:
lol
|
By:
Na is putting so well
|
By:
wba you can tell it is last day of season..how man goals ffs
|
By:
When you watch NA though you get that feeling he is going to "Mission Impossible" any minute!
|
By:
By the way "Mission Impossible" = self destruct in 20 seconds lol
|
By:
Come on the Albion :)
|
By:
has he hit a bad tee shot when he gets one of his nervous moments? doesnt seem to bother him..i can see him winning but i dont think it will be an easy ride as he had yesterday
|

Back from a weekend away.....drunkenness, debauchery, etc......stayed away from any TV and papers.
Some lays were matched to get rid of greens.......fowler @10...damn....others are not likely to win so a good call.......Kuchar the only one i didn't lay and now i've come home to see him 1 behind leader and favourite. Rather Fowler didn't win since i've laid him.....Kuchar or Na should win it.....preferring Kuchar of course......but something tells me he won't. Honestly, who's been playing consistently well on Friday and Saturday? Honest replies only..... |
