Bruce really does need to go...has made some terrible basic mistakes tonight....5 my last count...
|
By:
Laying McIlroy, Simpson and Watney very small.
|
By:
Could well be Rory and Ricky in 2 ball tomorrow
|
By:
Forget that^^^^^

Hmm mess of a tournament for me - looks like first loss in 6 but still possible to be green
Moore & Cink & Fowler small greens DA + Senden small reds Watney Simpson + Rory - big loss oh and McNeill wins me a small fortune but he's too high a price to do much with atm Don't have a clue what to do , think I'll just watch tomorrow and hope for the best ![]() |
By:

I wonder why Watney didn't try to hit his 2nd shot out of the creek. It was clearly visible and sitting up.

I think Heinz has a point to a degree. Watney, I can see. He has not played well by his standards this season. Has not been in the mix. Has a disappointing last round scoring average this year and played the crucial last three holes y'day really poorly. So would'nt be overly confident even if he was there at this juncture today! McIlroy has shot 62 round here to win, is probably the best player in the world at the mo, so is not so easily dismissed. However, his last round scoring average is not as good as some might think and you are probably considering also that his price is wrongand this is the reason you are laying him. Simpson I would keep onside. He's been consistently playing well all year, is on an upward curve, a proven winner and has a two shot lead. I backed Ryan Moore pre-touney and layed some back @16 (just before he birdied 17!). He has played the front nine really well all week so I think I will hold on a while longer before I lay more off. Am going to get Points onside after threatening to do so all week...and not. As said, he was bogey free y'day (as Moore)and missed a bunch of short putts which would have led this had a few dropped. Course the worry is, is that it wont be any easier today but I think the price is fair enough. Good luck with all your bets tonite. |

Too much talent not to win one day...don't usually back non winners but still impressed by his Open efforts last year and this might be his time...

had a punt on rickie fowler

People have been wasting their money on Rickie Fowler for a long time now. Can you even remember the last time he was in serious contention on a Sunday? He won't be a factor tonight.
|
By:
Have got out of Watney, Heinz. You could say I have compounded the error.
|
By:
Fowler will come of age tonite - had a wee dabble on Blixt again as like last week hoping he's going to be lively early doors at least...

Sticking with Watney....glad hes not in last group, had his moments yesterday and hung in well...

By:
Fingers crossed for George.

Anyone backing Rickie Fowler to win needs their home help to carry them back to the padded room.
The boy is a bombscare and has no chance. Wont finish in the top 5 and a double is a cert in the final round. Webb is a class act and should win. |

Aber - what price for RF?
|
By:
I had a little nibble at Westwood @ 1000

8s to you mate
![]() I have been on the rickie train in the past. He is over rated, there are many better players out there. Have followed him on shot tracker a few times when i have backed him in 2 balls. He is always only 1 hole away from disaster. my only loser tonight is boy wonder, small win on rickie, everyone else is a tidy profit. Watney best, followed by Moore and Webb I no it is aftertiming but pre tourney i backed Webb and Moore, traded out far too soon. |
By:
I am hoping that McNeil can get in amongst them so that i can trade off my monster prices.
|
By:
Westy on the charge....
|
By:
At the moment he is one of the most overpriced golfers in the field. One behind Fowlup who is available @ 14. awful value for a non winner. Yet
|
By:
McNeill is available @ 110. And he has won before!
|
By:
And yes i am bigging him up for a trade, but not @ 110.
|
By:
Westy in close to go - 11
|
By:
Last time i backed a winner @ 1000 was Mark O'Meara in the Dubai Desert Classic.
