Okay we start the year off at Kapalua on Thursday and this thread is in anticipation of a profitable year, last year I earnt £45k so a realistic target will be a £20k profit this year. My target this year would give me enough money to put a deposit down on a flat, which would be brilliant and make my life more pleasant having my own pad.

I tend to place most of my bets pretourny and tend to go for the longer odds in general, so don't be suprised if I go through 3 or 4 months without a winner. If my players are out of it going into the final round and I still have funds available and can spot some value I will place the odd final round bet (usually on Hunter Mahan).

I am not going to start with a bank as such because this isn't how I work. As most of you know I have a full time job and this funds my gambling and basically each week I set aside money I need to live and gamble the rest, so I never really has a gambling bank, it is just kind of a rolling one, and when I win I tend to spend the winnings. So I will keep track of my profit from £0 starting balance.

This weeks bets to be posted tommorow once I have been down the bookies. I hope you follow this thread and make some money too.

Why say that VJ was a gereat price at 20-1? Were you trying to ramp him up to lay?

DML...would guess that he was desperate to find a way of suggesting he had money to bet for the next couple of weeks without resorting to nicking from Mummy's purse yet again. So when Vijay got to 10/11 under he invented the pre tournie bet in the full knowledge that he could ''trade'' Laugh  a profit. If you earn 200 quid a week its tough to keep inenting ways of having a grand a week on Grin

I'm not denying that TMM had the bet or not. Without proof it is impossible to say, though I am suspicious of most of what I read on any thread.

I just don't understand why it wasn't mentined until late, and then only trying to ramp him up at 20-1? Must be as he was desperately trying to offload him at 24/25 just hours later.

Whatrs the point? You either list every bet you have or dont. you cant pick and choose.

Exactly Donny.

Much like friend Eric and Maggot. Not a mention of DJ in their numerous selections, until,of course,he gets close to the leader board.

For any credibility whatsoever,ALL bets must be posted.

Go fk yourself Heinz....I never said that I backed DJ, at any time, because I didn't. Fkin muppet. Before the event started I posted the players that I had backed.

ROFL

Timmy..........starts off the thread proclaiming to be an almost professional punter who had won £42,000 last year alone, trns out he had previously been excluded from the site after losing £25,000.

Has no betting bank but finds no problem pulling out up to a grand any time he fancies a bet.

Supposedly, lost £2,500 to the phone company when he said he was a victim of fraud, but he already stated on numerous occasions he had almost no money in his account.

He has multiple entries in the golfing competition previously he had made a point about boasting on how successful he had been in that competition.

He goes under a multitude of different forum names.

Now bizarelly he comes up with this successfull bet! my qestion to you is why wouldn't you believe him.

Even if it were right  he could mention a thousand different golfers in a hundred different forums what's that got to do with this competion? Would it of got mentioned if he'd lost?

Timmy you maybe able to impress a few gullible fools like mascherano but I'd remind you there is only 2 months left and your still doing terrible.

tmmidwi hasn't impressed me and im sure he'll be the first to let you know he has had a poor year, but im just congratulating him on his win. i believe tmmidwi to be a good judge on the golf, he may have been sticking pins in boards but he put Yang up when he won the PGA and told us about Henningson prior to when he nearly won early season and then went on to win the Czech Open.

gl tmmidwi !

I'm thinking of having a bet on Vijay, 20's seems a nice price given his fantastic play yesterday; he came back after an early double, leads the field in proximety to the hole (which i think is a great stat) won this event 4 times, albeit on different courses, came 4th last week, won 34 times on the PGA tour, former world number 1, back treatment has sorted him out and long putter working.. I really enjoy it when people win some nice money on here. It’s always nice to see. I’ve followed this thread for a very long time and have seen TMMIDWI hit a long and uncomfortable losing streak, but I’ve kept my fingers crossed for the lad, hoping he’d turn it around.

I’ve also read the comments from the detractors, which initially I thought were a little harsh. However, the longer this threads goes on the more I can see their point. As has already been highlighted, TMMIDWI has several forum accounts and has already been accused of cheating on the golf competition on here. Astonishingly he seems capable of producing a grand at the drop of a hat to bet on the golf each week, despite claiming poverty earlier. He’s told us about a phone company that took almost £3k out of his bank account despite, again, him having previously claimed that he was skint. Now he’s putting comments out on threads claiming that he’s thinking about backing VJ at 20/1, only to claim later – when VJ is a couple of shots off the top of the leaderboard – that he’s actually backed him pre-tourney at 95’s! Whichever way you look at it, there’s only one conclusion you can draw: TMMIDWI is being dishonest in one way or another. He has since attempted to justify the lies, claiming they aren’t actually lies but a betting tactic.

He authored this thread, telling us about the bets he has in each tournament yet fails to mention many of them, and, as stated above, pulls out winning bets after the fact on other threads. Makes you wonder how many other (losing) bets he’s had without mentioning them and adding them to his current negative balance. Obviously, then, we have no idea as to the nature of his running total, and the whole sorry affair has lost its appeal.

TMMIDWI is probably a nice bloke but it’s obvious he has a very serious gambling problem. If he won £50k on one tournament here he’d be lining up a £50k bet for the following one, claiming it was a monster bet he’d been planning all year. It seems to me, at least, that he’s addicted to the buzz of the threat of losing money, rather than the joy of winning it. Shame really.

TMMIDWI, I say this in kindness and good will: please get a little help for your gambling problems. There’s no fun in making people having a negative view of your character, due to obvious inconsistencies amd contradictions in your various claims on various threads, and there’s certainly no fun in being declared bankrupt.

Genuine best wishes.

You know the amazing thing about this thread is that it lasted so long, why didn't it die a death after about six weeks? Nine months and 1290 posts it got. For nearly all that time he was thousands of pounds down, their were dozens and dozens of losing bets, still people kept believing in him even though he seemed to have strange relationship with the truth.

What about his disciples I hear you ask.

Tradefair, stated on March 7th he would be backing Timmy's selections blindly from now on. Well his is a sad story, he now plays a banjo outside King Cross station after sadly losing the house.  He says he doesn't really mind, its the dog he feels sorry for, fido, that sad resigned look he had in his eye just before tradefair ate him.

And what about Maggot?
The one who took it as a personal insult if timmy's honesty was ever doubted and however tough the personal effort to himself never failed to mount his high horse on the subject.  Well I am sure you've all guessed, he joined a monastery. Maggot asked god isn't my work of upholding morality in the world more important lord? And god replied unto maggot, no, your work is done my son, you can take your place with the other friars in the special place.

Update on tradefair.....He was lasted spotted on the top of beachy head, nobody knows what really happened to  him, they only really new it was him from handwriting evidence, you see he was surrounded  by piles and piles of betting slips. The last person to spot him alive said he was cursing and mumbling something over and over again, it sounded like timmy and timy'sfriend and another which was totally indecipherable.  Yes truly, there were many names, many many names.

However, no need to fret, Bank of Mother will be open for business as usual for a punt on the golf. Bet placed, £160 each way Gary Woodland at 150/1

Gary really impressed me with his second shot on the 18th at the Bob Hope Classic, from a downslope over water out of the rough with a 3 iron (or something) thinking he needed eagle for a playoff, with so much on the line for him in that a second place finish would have virtually guarenteed his card but he went for broke which was very commendable. His swing is beautiful and I actually think its better than Vegas', he is long straight and hits lots of greens and has shown even though he lost at the bob hope that he has alot of bottle! I expect him to win this year and with a 2nd and a 5th in 5 events this year I think 150/1 with each way options is huge. COME ON GARY!!
