i would recommend following all 3 until they reach the green and then look away
Report Gary Binosh December 22, 2009 4:41 PM GMT
I think Both Molinari Brothers will have a big season in 2010

out of the english players, i think Fisher will continue to improve and surely Olly wilson will win this year

and as always Luke Donald will finish just insid ethe top 20 of each of his tourments, and have another great year of sizeable ''without winning'' paychecks

Westwood
Watney
Kaymer.

Hardly outsiders though. All to improve world rankings...
Report Take My Money, I Don't Want It December 22, 2009 8:21 PM GMT
to be fair westwood can't get much higher can he.
If woods continues to play he will stay number 1, followed by phil, westwood could possibly get upto 3rd but not any higher imo.

Everybody saying westy is gonna win a major next year, I think it would be much more profitable to back him to finish top 10 and top 5 in all 4 majors.

European Tour

Richie Ramsay (now he's got the first win the former US amatuer champ imo will really kick on)

Edoardo Molinari (another former US amatuer champ won 5 times last year. think he will win in Europe and be in the top 15 in the RTD)

Sam Hutsby ( Played great in the events he got invited too in the back end of last year and maybe should have won. think he will gain experience and have a good year)

PGA tour

Nick Watney ( think Butch is turning Watney into a very good player. nearly held Micko off last year at Doral and had a top 10 at the masters. a year which also included a win and a great performance in the HSBC in China. think he will have a good US open and win at least once next year)

Adam Scott (another player who is working with Butch and the hard work is paying off. won on OZ and had another high finish. was 3rd in Singapore and i think the PONCE will have a very good year)

Rickie Fowler (the exciting young talent could and should have won at least once in his rookie season in the back end of the PGA tour. got beat in a play off. also played well in the Shark Shootout. can see him winning on a bombers course. either the BOB Hope,FBR or in the fall series)

from the oldies i will give 1 from each ;

European Tour

Darren Clarke (hope so. he deserves it)

PGA Tour

Jim Furyk
Report Gary Binosh December 22, 2009 9:44 PM GMT
i think Jim's had a good year this year, got a win, played consistent all year
Report mascherano December 22, 2009 9:47 PM GMT
not had a proper win in 2 years gary. yes he won the Chevron in a decent field but Jim,knowing the player he is will know in the back of his head that doesn't count. showed great bottle on the back 9 at the chevron so i can see Jim winning 2/3 times on tour.
Report Gary Binosh December 22, 2009 9:56 PM GMT
but consistantyl he was one of the best players all year

although i agree it is all about winning, and if you get into the positions he did, he should have won more

im pretty sure he's not a Luke Donald.....happy with a 2nd place paycheck
Report mascherano December 22, 2009 10:00 PM GMT
lol. Furyk will want 2 wins a year for a player of his quality. he aint bothered about most consistant and most top 10's in his stage in his career he want's wins. so i think next year will be a big year for him.

Think Luke will win Next year. Honda/Riviera.
Report Gary Binosh December 22, 2009 10:03 PM GMT
Masch, its not April 1st so dont try and catch me out with that one ;)

yeah agree with Fuyrk, he's still got the talent and after proving at the chevron to himself, he should win a few this season

Report mascherano December 22, 2009 11:00 PM GMT
just read. Butch is still attached to Scott but isn't his official coach. just read on GOLF.COM ;

Scott and swing coach Butch Harmon mutually agreed to take a break as Scott tries to find his way.

think he went to his former coach Mark Gibson from The Gold Coast inthe ozzy stretch.
Report mascherano December 22, 2009 11:01 PM GMT
didn't know that. Scott will surely get rid of Butch if he can keep his good form up. i think a win a top 5 and a top 10in his last 3 starts.
Report Mighty Whites 2008 December 22, 2009 11:06 PM GMT
will be interesting to see if any yonger players break through this year. The PGA tour really needs a rising star to compensate for the absence of Woods. Wouldn't be suprised to see Jamie Lovemark break through as a star. Rickie Fowler clearly has the talent and looks a top player. Without Woods (in the early part at least) will make it much more open.
Report mascherano December 22, 2009 11:10 PM GMT
Mighty Jamie didn't get his card so has to rely on Invatations
Report Mighty Whites 2008 December 22, 2009 11:34 PM GMT
