They just said if Ed Moli wins this week he finishes higher on the world rankings than his brother. How on earth does that work ?

bizarre, mind he has actually won. Does the Challenge Tour win count? Won bucketloads then
Report CUPRA December 19, 2009 12:10 PM GMT

Report double trouble December 19, 2009 12:13 PM GMT
there a poor bunch...you cant expect anything else...we see it week in week out and yet are surprised when it happens again... Moli now got to the lead and**ed his jaw three times in two weeks
Report Mighty Whites 2008 December 19, 2009 12:15 PM GMT
you do get world ranking points for challenge tour events. Molinari is like sim who is also just outside the world top 50 due to excellent performances on the nationwide tour
Report fading December 19, 2009 12:15 PM GMT
absolutely right dt. For some reason I convinced myself that Canizares might actually hold up under pressure today, but sadly not. Moli seems to be doing the same, and Hansen's not exactly firing on all cylinders.

Pablo still has to go down as massively fortunate, can it last another round though?!
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 12:17 PM GMT

Report fading December 19, 2009 1:16 PM GMT
is it me, or is Kingston's price a tad generous at present, probably only be 1 shot behind (not definite, but Pablo birdie doesn't look that likely) and he's a past winner here. Thoughts?

whats going on on the last?
Report fading December 19, 2009 1:23 PM GMT
pablo birdie, anders par
Report frames December 19, 2009 1:23 PM GMT
Luck is a big part
On the 3rd he is 2 yards from OB ,makes long putt for birdie
On 6 or 7 hits a spectator ,that probably saved him a penlty drop.
The rock , two or three shot swing ?

The most remarkable level par round I have ever witnessed and I`m not talking through my pocket.I lose whatever , 78 would of been fair.
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 1:23 PM GMT
well can you all back kingston's price in I am looking to lay back after getting 36 pre tourn. Anyone who wants to back at 5 is welcome
Report par December 19, 2009 1:24 PM GMT
well done to the lad

that smile never leaves his face, if only some of the others played with his attitude they might get on better

i fear for him tomorrow though , he is swinging like he is holding a four foot snake in his hands
Report hacker December 19, 2009 1:24 PM GMT
In all the years i`ve been watching golf..i`ve never never seen anything like that...level par...he has had it off big time...gl tomorrow.
Report double trouble December 19, 2009 1:25 PM GMT
I honestly think, although I concede the blokes been very lucky at times, there's nobody in contention that you can trust any more than him...In his defence he's now been leading a golf tounament for four days straight. Compare that to others up there atm when theyve got close to leading...
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 1:25 PM GMT
Par ........... Anders giggled his way around once again. Pablo looked distressed next to anders who seemed to be overcome with excitement
Report double trouble December 19, 2009 1:27 PM GMT
I'm not for one minute suggesting he wasnt very lucky but he didt get away with it on 14, and the putt on 17 bobbled...Oh ok, I'll get my coat...
Report par December 19, 2009 1:27 PM GMT

Report double trouble December 19, 2009 1:28 PM GMT
exactly golfnut...he's no different to the chasers...just has a few in hand again
Report daffyde December 19, 2009 1:40 PM GMT
fading - Im the same - not talking through my pocket, im just amazed that this round isn't eliciting more comment - I mean hitting the spectator was lucky enough - it was flying out of bounds - but the rock thing was ridiculous - coupled with all the putts (not to mention the last which defied gravity). seems like a nice enough bloke so good luck to him - but I believe these things even themselves out, and if I were him, I wouldn't get in a lift for a while. Peace out
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 1:44 PM GMT
he had two pieces of big luck, thats all. any of you who think holing clutch putts is luck no absolutely nothing about the game.
The two pieces of luck he had were massive, I agree, but dont carry on about him holing putts, thats what golfers do to win tournaments.

Do agree that hitting spectator and bouncing off rock probably saved him 4 shots.
Report frames December 19, 2009 1:46 PM GMT
And the one two yards in bounds saved him another two.Part of the game but an 80 would not have looked wrong.
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 1:48 PM GMT
Fair enough Frames, but am reading a lot of cr*p about how lucky he was holing all those putts.
Get real
Report frames December 19, 2009 1:58 PM GMT
It`s very interesting for tomorrow ,he can`t be that poor again I imagine.Worthy fav but there could be a few wanting to take him on at the price.
Report Aussie Driver December 19, 2009 2:02 PM GMT
yes its very interesting betting at the moment. I am on Pablo and Kingston and happy to stay that way, but I expect a lot of too and fro tomorrow
