I have placed 3 bets on this.

First Round Leader - Oskar Henningsson @ 150/1, I have had 20 quid each way, so a low first round fom oskar would be very profitable.

Outright;

Rory Mcilroy @ 9/1 yes I know he has only won once and is very short this week, but after a stunning 63 last week to finish in 4th spot you have to fancy his chances this week. Also lost in a playoff last year after a final round 65. 80 quid on the win.

Lee Westwood @ 10/1 loves to finish in the top 10, and I did say to myself I would never ever put another penny on westwood but unfortunately I feel compelled to back him this week. Incredibly consistent performer and now the monkey is off his back with the recent win in portugal I'm ready to have another go on the westwood train.

80 quid same as mcilroy. What do you think about the 150/1 bet, each way aswell, I think that is a cracker.

Really wanted to back molinari but missed the decent prices looks a bit short so will probably leave it till after 1st round so only backed jaidee
Report Steveirll November 11, 2009 8:47 PM GMT
Francesco Molinari 20/1 - Worth sticking with after last week's effort in Shanghai

Charl Schwartzel 28/1 - Arrives in top form and boasts a good performance at the course.

Ben Curtis 50/1 - Settled in well in Hong Kong and course looks ideal for his game.

Thongchai Jaidee 28/1 - Loves the course and can wrap up Asian Order Of Merit with a bold show.

steve, never back moli at that price. road to the poor house. you need to be on him at about 80-1. he'll probs have a good week but a player you should never back at the price.

Oh, well your okay cos I haven't got any more money to place. Who is the winner then tmm?
Report Take My Money, I Don't Want It November 12, 2009 5:05 PM GMT
For what its worth I think both Mcilroy and Westy look like a big price. Both played a lovely solid first round today, and I expect them to shoot a similar score tommorow and be 1 or 2 off the lead going into the weekend, where I expect they will dominate, players I am scared of however are;

Schwartzel
Yang
Jacquelin
