Just a friendly queryHappy:

Is there any particular reason that you are using the General Betting forum rather than the Greyhounds forum?

I realise that not much gets posted on here nowadays but now I have to filter through greyhound threads to see if anything else has been posted. It's not a hard task but seems unnecessary when there is a dedicated Greyhound forum?

this is the best forum  for real greyhound people as the greyhound forum has been took over by an absolute idiot who drives us posters insane, the peace we get here is amazing

Reuben, Judge Roughneck and all General Betting forum users. It would be greatly appreciated if you could put up with the mini invasion from the group of posters headed up by Dr Atkins as the Greyhound forum feels like a black cloud has been lifted since their departure. In the Dr's reply to you Judge Roughneck, you can gauge a sense of the charm of the man and it does not really improve overtime. Its doom and gloom from dusk to dawn. To fill you in, apparently one user on the greyhound forum has upset their sense of wellbeing so much they declared the greyhound forum dead and fooked off but rather than be true to their convictions they have just fooked off over here. To be fair some contributions will provide winning opportunities for anyone following the posts at various meetings but when that is weighed against the general despondency which manifests itself as an undercurrent its a poor trade off. I could understand the need for General Betting to reclaim its borders as captured by Reubens salient quote and perhaps Betfair will conduct a FREXIT vote to allow a broader understanding of the dysfunction created when one group forces itself on another without mutual benefit or agreement but I think that is rather unlikely. So as per my opening comment if you could see it in yourselves to live alongside Dr and Co our greyhound forum gratitude will forever be held high in validadation.

If the topic is greyhound betting/information/strategies etc......then, for sanity of those not particularly "interested" in Greyhound racingDevilGrin, I suggest each member has their own thread that is continuous, as opposed to numerous threads by that member.

Just makes it easier to check to GB forum for any interesting betting threads and not having to wade through so many threads spewing onto General Betting forum.

GL with bets.

A good idea from DFCIRONMAN and a sensible compromise.

Absolutely charming response from the poet of the forum. I am often moved to tears with his subtle use of the English language (well I believe its English). You and the other General Betting users are so lucky to have a new neighbour of his quality. Just a shame he appears to have a fat head to go with his fat user name.
