Afternoon all, had a busy morning so no BAGS action today, first bet will be in the 14:15 at Leicester, to any that are following or interested, even the ones who are awaiting my first losing bet to come in and jump straight on here!!! lol lol

I will also be selecting a nag in the 14:15 at Leicester but am opting for the first bet of the day with a lay of Arabian Spirit in the 14:00 at Rippon at 10.0.

Bet 2 is a lay of Dancing Maite at 8.2 in the 14:15 at Leicester.  Don't fancy this at all.  However do fanct Dickie Le Davoir to place, but will stick with the lay.

OK, looks like that is the first losing bet, but looking on the brighter side Manure out of the cup and only a loss of £35.31 and still in profit for the day with a balance of £764.02.  Really thought Manure would win wel today, can't win them all and such a small loss on the grand scheme of things.  More tomorrow I'm off out now!!![>o]

Cheers, Happy with that.  Always nice to see it finish how you predict.  Obviously anything can happen in BAGS racing but that is 2 from 2 today.  Balance is now £700.32. 

Because of the early losses, £2540ish is about the best I can hope for, and that would be getting the reaming 13 and a half days all correct. I'd be happy to take a £1K, bank £500 of it and go again from there.

Oh dear....  bad end to the day with a big hit...  a loss of £165.88 and a balance of £551.95.  Disapointing.  Oh well, need some more luck over the coming days.  Still in profit, just about. 

Unlucky mate. As long as it is an upward trend don't get too concerned about hitting the final target or not ... Keep going.

I have plenty of work going on for next few weeks which makes it hard for me to spend 24/7 on here so I am trying to pick and choose a bit more carefully

WW, one must have a staking plan or in this case a laying plan. If one mainly backs and your stats are good then at levels stakes you will recover but it's not the same laying. One needs to have some plan in place as long as over a hundred lays one is ahead i.e your system or judgement for lays works. Once that is establuished then the next step is a staking plan, if otherwise all one does is extend the timeline to recover losses or make a profit and if there are bills to be paid its not possible. Hence edel's suggestion is viable but only if ones system works. There is nothing wrong in increasing ones liability or using a ladder system to recover and spread the increased stakes over ten bets to recover.
It depends on one's definition of chasing - getting back your losses in two races with all in positions and not studying the form is a good one.
