Can you explain your staking please. Take the bottom game Fc Saturn v Lunch. It looks like you laid £33 @ 13.5 so a potentail loss of £413.00 If you take ONE hit you wipe out all 4 days profit. If you took 2 hits like that you could wide out 2 weeks future profits. I am concerned by the number of 2-2 draws you are laying. With average odds of about 18/1 a quick £20 becomes £360 loss. |

1. I just stake what I feel is appropriate for each game ...on its merits. The first bet yesterday was a "confident" bet so the staking was larger than bets that followed, generally. 2.......2-2 draws do happen....but on such games where I lay 2-2 I don't believe it will happen in that game. 3. If you get "concerned" re- bets .......you should not make them. As they are my bets.....I am not "concerned" at time of making them...as I believe they are "good" bets. Of course a game can take a turn in it where the 2-2 CAN happen, and yesterday with ROMA game ....it looked as if it might ( IT DID'NT THOUGH.....AS ROMA ONLY HAD 10 PLAYERS LATE ON ETC )so I took a loss on game. Everybody has own way of staking.............I don't as a rule believe in LEVEL STAKING....as it is an inefficient way to bet. You might prefer betting on 1-0 or 0-0 or 0-1 .....which I do too......as odds are lower , so HITS are lower.....BUT REMEMBER THE ODDS REFLECT CHANCES OF THE SCORE HAPPENING....AND 1-0 IS IN MOST LEAGUES MORE LIKELY TO HAPPEN THAN 2-2...ETC ETC The key is not picking games where 2-2 happens too often...... Do you think betting on such games is a good way to bet? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Yes I find cup games especially carling throw up some weird results and teams dont try and defend they attack, e.g. Scunthorpe. In fact if you look at any Carling & Scottish results last night each game had at least 3 goals. So my 1-0 0-1 1-1's were always going to win. I think the premesirship averages 2.6 goals a game and that is why I use these scores. But I am with you diffent games differnt odds. I am generally laying 3 games at day trying to win £100 but I take a £300 hit should any game go the wrong way. So I am thinking about laying more games e.g. 10-12 to make £15 a game and If I take a hit on 2 it is not massive to my bank. But I am doing so bad on the scores (or good in the laying sense) so thing that will be the aim. Only thing is liquidity is so bad on some games. Have got 3 lays out there at moment and once laid will post em. |
