Red dog, If you get away with your Roddick bet you need to split your bank up.  You will not get 10% every day by betting all in, you may eb lucky and get a few good days by splitting your bank but at least if you lose say 25% of your bank it only puts you back a few days.

Yes i think its actually 64 days but it seems easy now but it will get harder when i have to start making 200 a day or even 400 a day

I've compounded at 0.3% per (active) day since 2006. If I could do that for another two decades, I would easily be the richest man in the world.

If I was compounding at 10% per day it would take me less than six months...

That wouldn't just be difficult, it would be impossible.

10% per day sustained may well be possible for certain people if they don't compound though.

The conclusion is that even 0.3% per day is unsustainable, let alone 10%!

What any casual or even skilled bettor is trying to avoid in gambling is a massive drawdown that has negative effects on the rest of their life.

This way of betting, of looking for a certain profit on bank per day, imv hugely increases the chances of a very big drawdown. You get into the mindset that losses are anomalous and wins inevitable. When you lose you think it's a fluke, chase and can lose everything.

Something that happens rarely is just that--a rarity, not a fluke. When you have a losing short-price system, you will lose to flukes eventually.

However, to average 10% a day is doable.

Scenario, you have a bank of 1K You lay each horse to a liability of 100.00. There are 8 races, each race you lay
an average of 5 horses. Unless you have a dead heat there
can only be 8 winners in 8 races, that means there will
be 32 that will lose that you are guaranteed to win off.

If you are a reasonable punter, you could narrow the wins down to 3 a day out of the 8 race card leaving you with 37 losers that you will win off.

100.00 a day profit(on average) on 40 lays is not impossible.
