somebody said he works in mcdonalds

He does,
He's quite good at snooker,
He's won £1500 on a one of these threads,
BUT he's lost about 20 (average £200 starting bank )
He has a record of 199 winners in a row,
He likes to "hook" the newbies on Betfair and make out he's well in profit and good at this.
He disapears for a few weeks when he gets a losing thread.

how do I know this ? I've been on here a long time and seen all he's threads.

these are all FACTS, just see his other threads if you don't believe me.

"The definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over, and then expecting different results."

Schalke, none of us here like to take pleasure in others losses but why do you bother. Yes you've had 199 winners in a row but what about your dozen other 1.01..... challenges which end up going pete tong?

Why dont you just use your knowledge in snooker and bet properly - as an ex-pro you obviously know more about the game than an average punter so use your edge and make a profit.

Seriously, why do you think this latest challenge will be a success? What will you do differently here from all the previous ones?

I don't know why everyone is so concerned on this thread.

Live and let live. Let him do as he pleases. What does it matter if he is successful or not? I know I have far more interesting things in my life to bother about someone else.

^^^ So why bother posting?

The previous poster made a decent point - he should have an edge given his expertise in certain markets. But there again - jockeys make the worst tipsters. There is nothing special in what he's doing this time as compared to what he's done before and failed. I really don't want to see it happen to the guy again but, I ear, it will :(

I posted in defence of my friend Schalke.

A quite different post from just posting to tell him how much better at gambling I am than he seemingly like all the other posts.

OK DJS - please accept my apology.
By:

No need for apologies.

I think people get so wound up because they see someone betting on odds that are understood to be "sure things" and this is looked upon as lazy. People have this crazy wild misconception that to be a successful gambler you need to pick selections that also come with a "value" price - "value" in this instance not being an edge but rather what people perceive as a price worth betting (usually in direct relation to their own financial situation).

"Oh look at him, thinking he is so much better than us betting 1.01s - he thinks he has it sussed. He hasn't got a clue. Look at him picking up a quid here and a quid there. He should be backing 2/1 shots like me!" - collective thought of the masses.

hes just found way of betting thats relatively risk free, and it obviuosly suits his charcter to bet something that might go wrong once in 100 times. goodluck , not really gambling.

somebody said he works in mcdonalds

He does,
I don't
He's quite good at snooker,
I used to be good at snooker, not so good any more
He's won £1500 on a one of these threads,
Yes, but it was closer to £1,400, had a few other good winning ones as well
BUT he's lost about 20 (average £200 starting bank )
I think 20 losing ones is a bit OTT, I have abandoned quite a few, won quite a few and lost quite a few but overall I would say I am in profit, I just havn't put everything into it before ...
He has a record of 199 winners in a row,
Yes, 199 doing this, and have many many more that were over 100 winners in a row, think the 2nd best was 180+ ...
He likes to "hook" the newbies on Betfair and make out he's well in profit and good at this.
I don't care who reads it, the main reason I use the forum is that it's the best place to keep a record of it, better than using paper or excel which I have tried. But it's a good buzz and also good for dicipline when people are watching it. It gives me great motivation to prove you ******* wrong !! lol
He disapears for a few weeks when he gets a losing thread.
Sometimes I have yeah, not denying it, sometimes I get so pi$$ed off when I lose a bet, doesn't everyone ... but I am so determined to make this work this time !!

how do I know this ? I've been on here a long time and seen all he's threads. Then you will know that I done very well from this when it was the 1.01-1.05 when I first started it, it started going wrong when I started the 1.01-1.08 threads ... but keeping it to 1.05 lowers my risks

these are all FACTS, just see his other threads if you don't believe me. It's impossible as most of my threads were from the old forum which is now been deleted for good, so you can only judge me from the current forum archives, apart from what people remember

" I think 20 losing ones is a bit OTT, I have abandoned quite a few, won quite a few and lost quite a few but overall I would say I am in profit "

there's a few you " abandoned " after you've had a loser, and you have lost a lot. You average £200 each thread and you have lost a lot more then 7 (= £1400) so how can you be in profit. If you don't keep track of your bets/threads/profit or loss how can you say your in profit ?
One thing is certain you've lost more then 7, it has to be in double firures.

surely scalping the pre-race/event markets is a much safer way to go????????????

as for never getting a snooker frame wrong IR, what happens if your player gets a dreaded KICK - no1 can predict them...............good luck
