I was in Hamburg on business for 2 days this week. I was under the impression that you couldn't use BF in Germany, in fact, I made 3 daily nap selections in the comps prior to going based on that fact, but I had no problem logging on. I could open the main site and read the forum. I didn't have a bet, but I got the impression it would have been OK, there was no 'pop up' telling me I couldn't (as there is in Spain). |

Also might be of interest to some to know that Betfair can raise your discount rate at any time without any warning. I suddenly realized that I was paying a much higher comission rate than I should ans e-mailed BF to be told that those living in Croatia now have to eat a higher discount rate and that they "should have" informed me in advance (but somehow didn`t) .
