betfair is available in the US - travel there on business frequently and used it many times over last 18 months without issue.

IIRC Thailand had some issues when using hotel web facilities due to 3rd party provider and limited access. Lots of sites were unavailable not just BF. Any proper internet cafes were ok though. Anyone comment on Austria as I am going soon? Yes, you can play in austria. |

Yes, Betfair do operate in Italy, but as a traditional bookie, not an exhchange, as this is not allowed for the same old reason, that the government loses out on tax revenue, although they always come up with other bullplop reasons to camouflage that fact, like 'fraud' etc.

as regards to laos , it was fine last year right up to the world cup final. i was using it all the time, but whatever happened, couldnt use it for the final and there after. left in october and still didnt work but the d a q worked fine. thailand was always fine for me. unsure as to how it is now.

the actual final itself, used it for all group games, second round, etc, which was weird, always wondered what had happened, why it was cut off

This law prevents us from allowing customers to access www.betfair.com and associated sites from France. We are considering our options for the future but in the meantime, as a result of this change in legislation, we can no longer accept bets from France or any of its territories. Please note that this restriction also applies to customers that may have accounts registered in a different location but attempt to use their Betfair account whilst they are visiting France. |
