Bet for wed. Hearts v Motherwell
1 point win hearts. rougly 2 on the exchanges. Hearts have lost their last two and will be keen to make amends. Motherwell have notwon in six. As the form guide says this fixture has been won by the home side. I think evens is agood bet here. Expected them to be less. Good luck |
By:
Sorry first mistake Won their last two. Meant to say Motherwell lost their last two.
|

Selection for the Second of Jan.
Sevilla to win at Athletico Madrid. 1 point win 2.66 at the moment. Athletico are having a poor season and have lost their last two at home. They recovered last time to get a draw away at Teneriffe. Sevilla have been having a good season and had won their two previous before a home loss to getafe . Altough this is a tricky one 2.66 is excellent value for a team in third playing a team who lie 15th, and have lost the last two at home . No Fa cup bets. Could not see any value. |

Are you taking account of AFRICAN players probably won't be available for SEVILLA....and AM likely to have both of their top strikers in team and they need to win this. Also SEVILLA play BARCA a few days away in COPA , whereas AM are in relegation zone and are likely to be giving 100% to win........ GL with bet if sticking with it.....but looks likely to lose IMO. ,'' he said. "It is what we expect. We have to pull ahead and get Atletico Madrid into the position it deserves.''
He added: "We have to give everything in order to gain three points on Saturday. "To win against Sevilla we have to concentrate for the whole game to avoid mistakes. We have great quality in the offensive part of the team.'' Tomas Ujfalusi and Juanito are both suspended for the hosts, while Sergio Aguero and Pablo Ibanez are doubtful. However, Sanchez Flores is boosted by the return to fitness of Maxi Rodriguez, who had been struggling with an injury over the Christmas period. Jose Reyes missed the final match of 2009 against Tenerife due to a neck problem, but is fully recovered and is in contention to face his former club. The Utrera-born 26-year-old said: "I've overcome the injury that I suffered and I feel pretty good. "I've already done some headers and I didn't feel any pain, which is important, and proof that I've fully recovered. "It's a special game for me, which is nice to play in. I like playing Sevilla, but obviously the most important thing is to win for me, for the club and for the supporters.'' Reyes spent a decade with Sevilla, coming through the youth ranks and then spending five years in the first team before joining Arsenal in 2004. "If I score I won't celebrate it, out of respect for the club where I grew up,'' he vowed. "Sure, it's always important and one likes scoring regardless of who it's against. "The truth is that I don't get obsessed about scoring; the truly important thing is for the team to win. If we win, whoever scores, I'll go home happy.'' Sevilla have failed to win any of their last three matches at home, picking up just two points with draws against Real Valladolid and Malaga, before going down 2-1 to Getafe on December 19. That hugely disappointing haul has seen the Andalusians slip off the pace in the title race. Three wins would have put Sevilla in joint second, just two points behind leaders Barcelona. They will probably be glad to play away from the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, even though they will face an Atletico side determined to turn their season around. Adriano and Lolo should be fit for the visitors after recovering from injuries, but goalkeeper Javi Varas is out following a collision with Abdoulay Konko in training ==================================================== Looks like I am wrong on Sergio Aguero being in team......but he still might be in it.....not sure ..... There were 4 Africans in the last team that played for SEVILLA.......when they lost.........No mention in above "report" re- whether they will be available to play tonight........but nevertheless , if they do play, will they give 100% with such a tournement approaching?????? I've layed SEVILLA and covered with a few CSs with them winning just in case they win!!!! Gl with game. |

Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero and defender Pablo Ibanez will miss Saturday's match at home to third-placed Sevilla due to injury.
"Pablo won't make it as he has been suffering from stiffness all week and (Aguero) would have only made it just in time and we are not going to force things," coach Quique Sanchez Flores said. Sevilla coach Manolo Jimenez still considers Atletico a direct rival despite the Madrid club's poor start to the season and their slump to 15th out of 20 in the standings. "They are a magnificent team, one of the greats of Spanish football, but football is football and there are things that defy explanation," Jimenez said. "I see them as a direct rival and we have to take them very seriously because they won't be down there at the end of the season." Sevilla will be without strikers Frederic Kanoute and Luis Fabiano and midfielder Didier Zokora but goalkeeper Andres Palop should be fit, Jimenez said =================================================== Two top strikers missing for SEVILLA by looks of it! |

La Liga - Sevilla's Sergio Sanchez has heart condition Reuters - Fri, 01 Jan 19:03:00 2010 Buzz Up! Sevilla defender Sergio Sanchez has a heart condition which requires him to cease all physical activity for the time being. Spanish players called for improvements in screening procedures for heart problems following the death of Espanyol defender Dani Jarque in August, two years after Sevilla midfielder Antonio Puerta collapsed during a game and later died after a prolonged cardiac arrest. As i said dfc its a tricky one . still the value is excellent. Will be staying on it. Remember the pressure is on madrid two points from relegation zone.

LAYED SEVILLA/SEVILLA ....will be expensive if this happens......don't mind you getting DRAW/SEVILLA :D GL
|
By:
Could have backed SEVILLA in HT market to guarantee a profit ......but was "greedy" and got what was likely to happen.....a goal about 2/3 mins from HT :(
SO , on 1st half performance SEVILLA look likely to win by maybe 2 goals.......AM very poor indeed...without SERGIO A.... Your bet looks "good" now. wd |
By:
I went on the "Charlie Chase"...and stood to lose a heavy amount by laying 0-1.....a very jammy goal by AM ......but a chance I might even m,ake a profit ...a good one IF Am take lead ...unlikely though.
|
By:
GL GSB ...even if SEVILLA score ...i should be at least break-even....
|
By:
Dont think they will
|
By:
I lost count a weebit on position....a goal for either team gives a good profit .....So still GL...you never know SEVILLA could still win this ...
|
By:
A bit like that late goal at HT.....out of a stupid defensive push in back by SEVILLA defender.....I thought Scotland defenders were thickoooooooossssssssss......that guy is up to thickoooooooo standard
The sending off made it difficult. A good game to watch though ...Better luck on next one GSB G N the nooooooooooo |

Bets 3 jan
West ham 1 point win v Arsenal Arsenal will field a wekened team here and prob will win but the value of 5.8 on west ham is too good to miss especially in the F.A. cup. running total 23 points |
By:
Both the last two bets showed excellent promise both leading at halk time but not getting over the line.
22 points so far. Bet for tues 5th, Jan 1 point win Villa away at blackburn in the carling cup. 2.62. This is an excellent price on villa. They have the confidence with the weekends performance beating blackburn 3-1. Blackburn been the home side will need to attack to take something to the second leg at villa park. I fancy villa pace up front and think they will win 1-0 |
By:
Bet 6 jan2010
Inter 2 point win away to Chievo 1.95 is excellent value here on the Italian league leaders . running total 22 points with the Villa game been of |
By:
Inter traded up to 2.14 before kick off. Prob due to eto missing. I got on at 2 and will leave it at that for the figures.
Agood bet 24 points profit so far |
By:
Friday 8th, Jan.
1 point win Notts forest away at west brom 4.4 on exchages. Second v third here. west Brom in excellent form However these wins have come against peterborough and scunthorpe with a cup win against hudersfield. Before this they drew at home to QPR and lost to Cardiff. So somewhere in between lies their true form. Notts foresthave not lost since the 19 sept. They have not conceded in their last six plus an impressive draw in the cup with in form Birmingham. At 4.4 this is a value bet to say the least. |
By:
Bet for 9 Jan.
In the draw no bet market 1 point win Birmingham to beat united 4.4. Not much liquidy at the moment but will improve. Great win by Forest. I got on at 4.4 but was 4.2 just before kick off. for account purposes we will take 4.2. We began with a bank of2000. We now have a running total of 2720. 20 point bank now at 27.2. Not bad if I do say so myself. |
By:
Bet 12 jan Birmingham 2 point win v Forest.
Birmingham drew at the weekend saving our bet and at roughly evens on the exchanges this is excellent value with them been at home and in such fine form. Still at 27.2 at the moment |
By:
Birmingham do the job. I got on at 2.02 but will leave it at 2 for account purposes. This brings out total to 29.2 points. On days when there is no bet I will not post. All bets will be at least 2 hours before kick off.
Starting bank 2000 euro or 20 points Current bank 2920 euro or 29.2 points |
By:
bet 14 jan
Aston villa 2 points win against Blackburn. Gave this bet before for one point but weather led to cancellation. will make it a 2 point bet as Blackburn are low in confidence after their defeat at city. For villa this is a chance of a wembley trip and at 2.5 this is excellent value in my opinion. |
By:
Another 3 points in the bag. One nil to villa. Would have to say luck was on my side with this one. Blackburn deserved the draw. Anyway a win is a win and this takes my total to 32.2 points from a 20 point starting bank.
Cant see any value at the moment for Friday so its back on Saturday with Everton and stoke my early considerations but not sure yet. Feedback would be nice. Its lonely on this thread. |
By:
Sooo many threads to follow mate. I'm reading yours. I nearly backed Villa yesterday but was worried about it being a 2 legged affair. Layed Blackburn in the end. Waiting for news on tomorrows games. Stay lucky
|
By:
No bet to-day but do think the ivory coast just above evens represents good value. wont be playing my-self as i dont like these tournaments at group stage.
Tomorrows bet is Back Liverpool at 2.22 to beat Stoke. 2 point win Every tipster I look at is saying this is stokes to win. Altough Liverpool will be short on the ground with Gerrard and Torres missing, they still have adequate replacements. Stoke have not won in four and lost three games before drawing with Wigan. Liverpools last league game was an away win at Villa. Liverpool are at 2.22 which to me is excellent value. stoke have slipped to 3.95 which for me is not enough. Would have needed to be over 5 to represent value. Also remember benitez has a habit of winning when he looks in trouble. 2 point win here. Also 1 point win Birmingham away at portsmouth. 2.78 . Would not suprise me if Portsmouth did not win another game this season. In form Birmingham at 2.78 represents excellent value. |
By:
gstreet- excellent thread so far, i have been following with interest. I also agreed with your Ivory Coast selection but decided to lay Ghana instead!.
I also agree with your Liverpool prediction but would prefer a lay on Stoke, i also have an verwhelming feeling that Kuyt may get a goal tomorrow, only time will tell! |
By:
Thanks appreciate that comment. I always think value is what you have to look for. I very rarely back below 2 as it leads to disater in the long run.
|
By:
Stoke beat Fulham 3-2.
|
By:
I very rarely back below 2 as it leads to disater in the long run.
Why do you say that ? |
By:
First of all apologies on the incorrect info on Stoke. Still does not change my bet. I fill in stats on all teams and for some reason did not fill in Stokes win at home to Fulham.
Why I dont back under 2 is that from personal experience the long term gains are not good. Years ago I lost alot backing odds on in football. To me it does not represent value. Then again its each to their own. |
