Got six different IPs showing in My Security, but all were for log-ins that match the times that I have logged in recently, so I'm not suspicious. They all either begin 86. or 217.

Is any part of the IP address a date stamp?

OK , thanks it's probably Betfair then and related to the upgrades. Morrigan could you please email the Betfair security team and ask what it is ? I would do it myself , but my laptop chrased this weekend and I'm not up and going on the mail programme on the new computer yet.

How can it be related to my LAN when it says it's from UK and I'm not there ?

It could be Betfair's lan though , but I would really like to know why someone from Betfair need to log into my account 4 times during the last week ?
I check this security login thing at least once a week and can't say I've seen this before.

Got no reply to the e mail i sent on Wednesday. It's obviously not important if strange ip adresses appear in your security log and beneath Betfair to offer a response.

Happened to me soon after they started displaying them. I phoned them up - can't remember the explanation but they basically said don't worry about it.

So what exactly is the point of it then? I haven't bothered checking it since.
