I don't understand the price because nothing has changed for Celtic, in as much as they have looked great against sub-standard domestic opposition, whereas any half-decent European side could be good enough to cause them problems. We won't know how good, or bad, Celtic are until they face decent opposition. Whether Slovan Bratislava come into that category, we'll soon find out.

I tended to agree with OP, I thought it was going to be much more difficult match than odds suggested but fair play to Celtic they battered them and I'm sure  the OP must have been impressed as myself, in view of our initial assessments.
Tougher games to come, but real good start for Celtic.
Engels looks a good prospect. Early doors though.

celtic have lost champions league qualifiers to similar rated sides in recent past, Celtic have won European Cup, beaten finalists in 1970, beaten semi finalists in 72,74. In the past.

I've know idea who op guy is, and i've no interest, but Celtic have struggled against similar standard teams in past, Maribor, the danish team, the norwegian team.
Anyway who got paid good luck, i certainly never bet against them and was delighted for players, fans, manager they got points and a very impressive performance, and price was proved correct.

What i will say is Brendan Rodgers seems much more confident than when he returned, I think that will work well for Celtic, his return was obviously difficult, he seems the same man when he arrived first time, and that can only be good for Celtic. Glad he knocked back spurs job and let Ange take it.

fk me you'd think I'd put forward a 1.01 shot and said full bank, it's a 12/1 shot that lost, next to nobody knows anything about Slovak football, what we did know is that they'd beat champions from countries who's leagues are similar to the Scottish Premiership, not so long ago they were losing to teams at home from Romania and Hungary. The stats based theory was there, but it seems people who do actually look more in depth at these continental teams, either knew it was a mis match or that this Celtic team under Rodgers is actually of a decent standard, I wouldn't know as I don't watch any Scottish football other than the Old Firm game, and Rangers looked miles and miles off the level of Celtic when they were recently beat. Souness reckons they are close, as close as the Sun is to Pluto. You will know where they're really at when they play Dortmund away next, not Bratislava at home. Kind Regards.
