I think Spain will win this and England's best chance is penalties, I don't remember the last time we played them in a tournament, maybe Euro 96, Nadal's uncle missed a pen that day.

First final abroad as well, at least Gareth has left his mark on England whatever people say.

Spanish domination doesn't translate into enough goals
Should have been 2 or 3 up from chances created in first 15 minutes of second half
Regrouped after we equalised and ended up dominating again for most of the time left

Definitely standout team of tournament

We ended up second officially, but in reality, one of about a group of 6 teams who were all about the same standard, well behind Spain

My take on England after a bottle of wine

1 how has Cole Palmer not started one single game.
2 the hype over Jude Bellingham is ridiculous. Plays like he's Roy Of Rovers
3 why is Southgate reactive rather than proactive? Every ****g time
4 how has a team this blessed with talent being muzzled throughout the tournament?
5 Southgate needs to do one as this side has the potential to be one of the  best
6 Kane had has his day. Pace is required at top level. Imagine if Spain had a top striker?
7 Palmer, did I mention him, needs to have the side built around HIM

I can't think of another player other than Kane playing for a major national team or any team for that matter that absolutely everyone agrees is ether injured, playing sh1te or both but where every single pundit agrees won't be dropped and won't criticize the manager for not having the balls to leave him out.

He has been undroppable with every half decent thing he has managed to come up with being used as a stick to beat his critics with, but those moments have been few and far between, ultimately he has been a millstone around the teams neck and that is down to Southgate for not having the bottle to put him out of his misery.

England though the whole comp had no pace on the left to match Saka on the right. Look at Spain. Happy to give time to a 16 year old ffs and Englands best and fastest left winger doesnt get a minute. Players work on getting defenders isolated, there was time

Guehi should have been round on the cover earlier ..he's marking nothing but 15 yards of space...when Shaw goes across any decent back 4 plays like they have string attached and compensate over..Bellingham shouldn't have allowed Carvajal to run off him so easily originally and Rice is too high leaving massive spaces for Spain to use.

But, Newcastle defender Trippier, who started six of the seven games, said that was not an excuse. Trippier said: "The team that we've got is fit. If you see the running stats, I think we're probably the highest in the whole tournament. So that's not an excuse."

If Shaw is goal side, they don't have the overload at the back post. If Guehi comes across they still do. Yamal is Shaw's man, Carvajal, who wasn't in a dangerous position and isn't a threat, is not and Bellingham is close enough to cover him. People seem to forget Tournament Football is not an exact science. It is not his fault other teams messed up and the draw opened up for Engerland.

We might have an even better team next time with all our ducks in a row and get knocked out by a France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Argentina, Columbia, Uruguay or even………… an Iceland in the last 16 in Amrika.

We do have some very good players. I doubt Klopp will want it and I don’t know who else is good enough or available.
