Germany at home is a big factor too, no?
I'm leaning towards a Germany win too. |
By:
suppose to be 50/50 crowd with a few thousands freeloading UEFA execs etc, but yeah I'd imagine they'd be more Germans, the Spanish don't travel like the English or the Dutch, that's at club and international level.

Croatia actually played better than anyone against Spain and should have scored at least 2. Spain's first team didn't play Albania. They completely dominated Italy and Georgia. I don't think being very slight favs is overrated.

tough one to call any result could happen.
marginal pref for the spanish but wd not be surprised by an outcome. maybe the draw may be the way to go after 90 mins and spain to qualify? |
By:
any

Germany on pens at 10/1 looks good to me.

2 English referees A Taylor and M Oliver for tonight's matches, they will be hoping England go out for a chance to ref the final.

I have backed Spain outright and they are very good to watch, but 2 things...
1.For all their good build up play, especially via the 2 wingers, their finishing could be better. Morata OK but not top class finisher, imo. If they had one, would be scoring 4 plus every game. 2 Because they are all about getting the ball and players forward quickly, it leaves them open at the back. Hoping for a cracking game and a Spain win, but really close to call as others have said.. Think overs and definitely BTTS look a shoe in Gl all |
By:
The rumour is Germany are going to kickass the Spain wingers
Gonna be a few YELLOWS ![]() |

Mornin' lads. Not bets yet but hopefully we see a couple of entertaining games.
|
By:
Back in the 90's, during one of the European QF's (Domestic) I couldn't put a Rizla between all four games so, for a tenner, I backed 4 draws at approx 100/1... they all came in! Never done it since, but for a few shekels I'm going for it again at 66/1... not without its chances me thinks.

btw, morning sofa

Feel Spain are strongly the better side but this is Tournament football and this is Germany. Would rather enjoy the game than bet on it. The Turkey Austria game was fantastic and I did not waste a schilling on Austria as was my want. No peseta's on Spain this time either just the joy of football.

|
By:
Spain win for me, and CS 1-1, 1-2 and 2-1. will be very tight, but Spain have the better players, although a big blow to lose Pedri so early
|

|
By:
dodgy yellow
|
By:
usual carp refereeing - inconsistent
|
By:
How is Can not on a yellow now
![]() |
By:
So the refs booked 3 defenders in the first 30 minutes for barely anything and now they have to tread on eggshells, great referreeing.
|
By:
ref might be a homer.

Rudiger misses the Semi Final if Germany get through, dumb archaic rule, he and the team are already punished for the 1 yellow per match as it is given he has to change the way he plays.
