You had a midfield of Beckham Lampard Gerrard Scholes. Hargreaves should have been first on the sheet in midfield with either Lampard or Scholes. Gerrard f'd up against the French. All 3 of them played with a Hargreaves like guy in beside them for their clubs.

No Hargreaves in that match against the French wasn't why England lost to France, it was because of two daft individual mistakes, 1 by Heskey to give away the free kick and 2 by Gerrard forcing James to giving away the pen, France needed 2 injury time goals and even Zidane said after "We can thank Fabien for making the difference", same against Portugal, conceded a late goal, Hargreaves was on the pitch for 40 minutes, ironically it was 2 minutes after he came on England conceded!

Team to kick off... Serbia 6/5...England 4/6 Apart from the overround , why not 10/11 each of two? Are they thinking that if England win the coin toss they will kick off, whereas if Serbia win the toss they might choose ends instead? Any ideas? |

Where I think England may struggle is at set piece plays.
In the EPL, it's virtually no-holds barred in the penalty area with referees effectively abdicating responsibility to VAR. That won't be tolerated at the Euros. Sending off at 5/1 is worth a bet and Cards over 3.5 should be odds on. |

The arrogant, overpaid Ingerlish players wot is more concerned with if the lines in their ridiculous hairstyles are straight than playing for their country should wack the Serbs. If there's one consolation, Ingerland won't lose this game on penalties. I looked at the odds for 2-1 to Serbia & thought much to short.
