The only reason that games need be on at same time is if results were impacting the same thing, such as the Title, CL qualification or relegation. If the top 2 were playing each other on last day to decide the title, that game could have a separate kick off time.

The reason for kicking off same time is so a team doesn't get the advantage of knowing what result they need for something by playing later.

I just got back home and Wow, what an amazing afternoon that was.
The stuff of dreams really to finish 10th and to do in such style. I'm still completely gobsmacked.
10/10 goes to the brilliant Villa fans as well who were singing and lobbing beach balls all over the place in the South London sunshine. They were even applauding our goals bless them!
