probably made Utd a few quid last year as was pretty decent but @ 32 not sure you'd have expected such a quick decline (there are suggestions he's not fully fit - beyond the obvious and now having to play CB not helping)
but symptomatic of the structure or lack of that existed when Ten Hag arrived..was a knee jerk signing to losing first two games of season and not being able to get De Jong...

I'd imagine he's carrying some sort of injury, possibly a hamstring, and is playing through it because they are down to the bare bones.
Quitting for being laughed at for poor defending. Why didn't Carragher quit at 24 then?
