I normally put up a thread for the festival for footie forumites to post their thoughts on the cheltenham festival which starts on Tuesday next week - so here goes
i have not had many antepost bets dueto the unstable weather conditions but the two i am currently happy with are Gaelic Warrior at 9.4 in the Arkle ( currently 5.4) and Galopin des Champs 5/2 in the Gold Cup . (Currently 8/5 but has recently drifted from an odds on position.) Not sure why the drift as i dont think it will be beaten.
Good luck and enjoy the festival if its your bag.
Please share any thoughts you have on here and lets see if we can make a few quid!!!
and so the final day lets hope we can finish a very successful day in style
ive been backing gallipin des champs for months so i am really hoping he wins today.

Yeah looks good for Aintree, ran a cracker, ran just as expected settled out the back powered thru beaten horses, and not enough speed for this.
Only real disapointment has been my big treble going down with El Fabiolo.
I've also saved my St.Patrick's's day drink for today, so a fair few Guiness's going down!

Yeah I was on Best Mate, only for the 2nd and 3rd though.
GDC gonna have some better competion next year though I think, but would be great to see the three timer, still only gonna be 9 so still in his peak years.

Been doing Cheltenham right back to Istabraq days, 6/7 on Tuesday as well, and I'll never do that again either.
I've had a couple of Chelt's better than this in terms of money won, but it's been a ton of fun, and especially pleasing to have done so well, with two mediocre days in the middle.
Backed Dino's and Waterford in the last on Monday so let'#s hope for a grandstand finish!

I was on the Kop at Anfield for the final ever home game, an emotional day even for a Leeds fan, what a day on ther lash that was... used to go quite regular in the 90s with one of my best mates who sadly passed away before Christmas.
RIP Paul.
