It really is time we were given some credit for being a half decent team.

Yeah, it was their 1st season in the Premier league and they were fancied to finish bottom. But they had a great run in the autumn (game was in September) and I think might have been top half at Christmas?

After that they were bad and avoided relegation on last day.

Arsenal had got 83pts the previous season and were expected to be contenders. But it was the start of the  '4th place trophy' era.

If Newcastle had beat Villa last day then Hull would have gone down.from what u recall.

He is outstanding for us when he plays but unfortunately that isn't very often.
