More of a 3rd round Carling Cup line up feel to it !
|
By:
Market was half expecting it mind you
|
By:
very little on the bench too.
A real Injury crisis. |
By:
this is a big game and we need to win it. luton are no mugs
|
By:
1.28 looks short enough
|
By:
not on tv either
|
By:
Wouldn't touch that price with a barge pole !
|
By:
might be worth a lay to trade
|
By:
Think Liverpool should still win, but could become a struggle against a side like Luton who should go looking for damage limitation really in this one...
|
By:
3-0
|
By:
No Salah, Jota , Nunez, Alisson, Robertson, Trent Arnold, Konate. I fear the worst.
|
By:
The early backers of big goals totals might be wishing they'd waited, even Luton are missing strikers too!
|
By:
can't see it, luton are not good enough and even missing starters lpool should win in a canter for me
|

|
By:
Liverpool started really well, should have scored. Uphill task now
|
By:
lots of corners already too for lfc, it doesnt sound like luton are the better team.
|
By:
Luton can't defend.
Nice team to watch, cracking game at sjp. Very big and physical, and not short of skill. |
By:
It may yet go tits up tonight but I'd like to remind people on here that our whole squad cost less than 25 million.
Liverpool only avoided defeat in the 95th minute in the game at Kenilworth Road. We also only lost by 1 goal to Arsenal, Spurs, Man City, Chelsea and Man United and beat Newcastle. It really is time we were given some credit for being a half decent team. (Let's just not mention last Saturday at home to Sheff Utd! ) |
By:
i agree madhatter when i saw the liverpool team i was worried . be well pissed off if we loose this coz of the **** cup on sunday
|
By:
anyone know what the biggest ever odds win is in the Premier League ?
|
By:
Hull were 33 @Arsenal in 2008
Can't recall a bigger one |
By:
soton 6 utd 3 must have been big
|
By:
wow that's massive, can't believe they were that big
|
By:
Hull must have been really poor, don't remember them being that bad, was that the Phil Brown era ?
|
By:
Was early season (wasn't it?)
|
By:
Yeah, it was their 1st season in the Premier league and they were fancied to finish bottom. But they had a great run in the autumn (game was in September) and I think might have been top half at Christmas?
After that they were bad and avoided relegation on last day. Arsenal had got 83pts the previous season and were expected to be contenders. But it was the start of the '4th place trophy' era. |
By:
If Newcastle had beat Villa last day then Hull would have gone down.from what u recall.
But Villa won. Michael Owen refused to come on?? I'm sure YHTL remembers the day |
By:
Owen talked about that recently in the Simon Jordan podcast, said he was half fit and told Shearer he'd start but would probably pull up and be better off coming off the bench, but Shearer was desperate for the points
think that was the game when Villa fans held up a banner saying something like 'who's your next savior, Ant or Dec', think there's still animosity between the clubs ever since |
By:
1 -1
