Slightly surprised to see Arsenal as strong favourites for this. Based on recent meetings it must be at least a lay. Craig Pawson on the whistle too….

He was terrible for Gabriel's header from the corner, just stood on his line and what was he doing for Saka's second goal? Happy to defer to others though if the general view is he is a good keeper as hardly getting any help from his teammates today.

How did a side with the legend Bobby Moore in defence ship 8 goals at home sparrow?

The team defensively was very poor in the 60s as time and again they would give away silly goals and we were known as a soft touch. Greenwood was mostly to blame for this and was the reason Bobby Moore fell out with him as for example the time he asked Greenwood to sign Maurice Setters a hard man defender who had become available but Greenwood said he did not want that sort of player at the club and instead bought John Cushley who was just not up to the job. A good example of the defending is shown here in this match against Stoke where we threw away a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 at home.....
