What a record this guy has got in getting teams promoted. Good luck to him. Ig he can get the Aberdeen fans rustling their sweetie papers - a onetime famous Fergie quote - he'll do well But the first lesson he must learn is that Aberdeen is not a "one club city". In common with every city and town in Scotland supporters buses leave Aberdeen on every fixture day destined for Glasgow, and one or other of the old firm grounds.. It is a Scottish scourge.
hugely embarrassing for Aberdeen & Scottish football that the Aberdeen board decided that Warnock was their man. It shows they feel they have nothing in-house or at their disposal in Scotland that could staedy the ship for 4 months and need to rely on a relegation expert from England. Says everything about the SPL at present.

I think Neil lives in Looe in deepest Cornwall. Aberdeen is a 1300 mile round trip!
Turns 76 this year, only about 5 years younger than Ferguson.
Obviously totally addicted to football or his wife enjoys the solitude.

'Agree. Never a truer word spoken. Locals should support their local teams. Brainwashed at birth.'
Hmmmn, the only thing is what if your local team is low division **** and you'd rather spend your hard earn't money going to watch the quality football? I've spent money watching low division stuff and life's to short :)
