Had some bets correct score on the Egypt game,still not settled btw,but my balance changed drastically about a dozen times within a minute,thought I was working for the post office.
Yeah that's what I was betting on too. kept changing and now seems to have sorted it's self out. This site is sh*t.
Knew there was something fishy going on,all my bets disappeared for about 10 mins,looks like it’s sorted now

I am fuming. I’m having the same issues. For the past 90 minutes my balance has been incorrect. They’re settling bets, then taking the money out. It’s making no sense. I should have £1900 in my account but only have £47 in it. This is like horizon & the post office. Totally unacceptable. Nobody answering on the chat/contact us page.
I’m so angry & stressed out. Was going to bet relatively big on over 1.5 extra time goals in the madrid game but couldn’t due to the incompetence of betfair & my account balance not being correct
They have settled my bet on the Sporting match ...but I still think my balance is light.. they have settled my overs bet in Madrid game

It's a serious concern when someone can go overdrawn. At one point, I'd lost 2/3rds of my balance on the resettlement of Egypt-Ghana despite never having anything like that in the markets.

There was a dissallowed goal (VAR) a few minutes before the Sporting equaliser ... maybe that'd the reason for the fck up on that particular game
No excuses Mecca, just pi$$ poor from betfair. Glad it’s sorted for now but still shocking that it happened & nothing is done about it.

I struggle to log on now, since I withdrew considerable amount few weeks ago.
I can't log on using pin and now I even struggle to logon using login and password.
It doesn't work on app. I have go to Betfair website. Login, being directed to app and then back to website and finally being able to log on.
Funny enough sportsbook seems to be working fine.
I'm tired today so will try to use laptop tomorrow.

They are at it again. Got my settlement wrong again tonight. Last week they settled a match incorrectly, leaving me over 45 quid out of pocket. And they refused to put it right, insisting it was me that got it wrong. Since then, I've withdrawn my funds, and won't use or engage with the site, until they sort it out. Check your bets carefully.
Just had my stake back without the green, now -£300! Going to withdraw if I get it back.
This must have spooked a lot of people into withdrawing their money, that can't be good for business, surely this'll change soon otherwise they'll start to feel it

Didn't play Spurs thank god. Account balance nearly messed up by ME ballsing up the Liverpool match. Got away with it. Next time I won't.
Tonight it's going to be Wolves-United (but only some of the markets it seems). Why have they got this new way of settling markets?

Something has gone wrong with Sheffield Utd v Villa settlement. I had best on correct score half time market and they have disappeared.
I only had a couple of small £3 bets, but don’t think I will be betting in play anymore. Imagine if you betting at high stakes. I think I might just bet pre match from now on. Even if you hedged a winning bet at end of match, would always be worried that your bet disappeared.

We had some technical issues yesterday in relation to the Sheff Utd v Aston Villa, and due to that, the markets weren't suspended on-site after the first three goals as they should have been.
In line with this, our Exchange team has confirmed that all unfairly matched bets between 17:41:45 and 17:53:00 are to be voided; Both of the bets you provided in this case were placed within that timeframe and have therefore been voided accordingly.
I hope this clarifies it for you, thank you for understanding.

Soccertrader - Not excusing it - It's a shambles - but I can confirm that is actually what happened. They did fail to suspend.
There is something really funny going on. My 2 bets on half time correct score market were made after 1st goal was made. How can you ever rely on a price,, if after game they say they have made a mistake and should have suspended the market? Best I think to just bet recreationally in running as you never know if market should have been suspended or not. It also begs the question whether they suspend and reset all markets for an event at same time, you would have thought their software would have done that. So maybe what has happened is main market was suspended and reset after 1st goal, but goal markets and correct half tine correct score market weren’t reset. Maybe people who layed the bets complained that those markets hadn’t been reset. Or maybe all bets between 17:41:45 and 17:53:00 were all voided. What concerns me if you needed to ever cash out a green position, or say you had an accumulator and wanted to lock in profit , you then hedged it and put your feet up, but then found after match that it had been voided. My 2 bets were just recreational in play bets and think I will just continue with this going forward. If I decide to make for me a larger bet will just do it pre match and just let it ride, as will never be sure whether in play market is correct or should have been suspended and reset.
Imagine if you were a full time professional trader on here and hedged a market and then found bet was voided, you could lose the 2 positions. (I suppose in some scenarios you could win 2 positions). The point is it doesn’t give full confidence in the integrity of the in-play markets and from this thread, it seems on-going issues.
Never seems to happen when you have a losing bet though:-(

To be fair, it was only an English Premier League match Live on Sky, and they only missed the first 3 goals! 
They need to consider just never suspending the markets, and letting punters monitor their positions like in cricket or tennis where they don't suspend for big moments

- winning bets settled as losers
- inexplicable minus balance when they took an hour to settle a German Cup game
- thousands go missing off balance despite cancelling bets
- bets wrongly settled following VAR, i.e. bets placed between a goal and a VAR decision wrongly settled.

As many have said the site currently is a joke, I am slowly but surely in email conversation with senior complaints executives I believe they call themselves.
Basically I'm getting nowhere but have asked if they are intending bringing back the forum q and a sessions on the forum, which is a big fat no.
I've tried asking why they dont wait for kick off when a goal is scored but possible var, they basically think everything is ok.
Really feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall but will continue pushing them for the foreseeable.

Another one is: when you place a back bet it says the price has changed please submit your bet, you keep pressing submit and you get the same message. More bugs on this site than a tramp's y-fronts.

As far as I can see there are just 2 obvious solutions king:
1 - as you say, suspend at a goal / possible goal (or penalty, etc) and only unsuspend after a kick-off. Red cards would need to be unsuspended when the game kicks off again.
2 - stop suspending markets
The main problem with option 1, would be VAR going back to an incident perhaps a minute or so before.

I emailed about the city bet being settled wrong last night to a complaints executive who I've been in contact with about a different issue for the last few days all I got was you have to start at square 1 again before I can talk to them. Place is getting worse by the day. Have emailed Peter Jackson again but he will probably forward it back to the complaints executive.
We shall see.
