Next up...Sambre : Anatomy Of A Crime.A French true crime drama based on a serial rapist (at least 56 women over a 20 year period) and the ineptitude/disinterest of all those involved in trying to catch him.On BBC i-player, six episodes. Will report back later and hope it's better than The Body Next Door which I gave up on after just one episode
Sambre is very good.
Each episode focused on a different person within the 30 years it took to identify him.
Watched all six episodes over only two days and not many programmmes grab my attention to that level.

S01 of The Wire was great... but it went downhill fast after that imho.
I liked all of The Wire. One of my favourite TV shows of all time.

If you like brass bands, Brassed Off is a must see. Its about a colliery band during the 80s, when the Tories were closing the pits. I enjoyed it the 2nd time as much as the 1st.
Yeah, very decent film...and you don't really have to like brass band music to appreciate it!
Pete Postlethwaite...a great and sadly missed actor.
