The only series I'd consider watching 100+ episodes of.... Fraser
My fav ever American comedy by far...so good I bought the box set of the 11 original series although I have never taken them out of the box because it is endlessly repeated on CH4!
Not seen the new series as I can't imagine that it could add anything to the wonderful way they drew the original set to an end.
I know I have to watch it sometime but just can't bring myself to do so yet.

Aspro I don't want to sway your decision on Lost one way or the other as I watched the whole series back in the day before streaming but if I had the choice on whether to watch all 122 episodes again knowing what I know now I would say no Fkn way - think the ending is voted one of the worst endings ever. But like I say I have no wish to sway your decision. 122 hours of my life I'm now nearer the Reaper
Apologies vidou, thought I'd replied to this. Doubt I'll reach the end regardless, but appreciate the feedback.
Jimmy Rabbitte (Robert Arkins), a self-proclaimed promoter, decides to organize an R&B group to fill the musical void in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland. The band comes together but ends up consisting entirely of white musicians who have little experience with the genre. Even though their raw talent and lofty aspirations gain the group notoriety, the pitfalls of fame began to tear at their newfound friendships as they prepare for their big show. Based on the novel by Roddy Doyle.

Next up...Sambre : Anatomy Of A Crime.A French true crime drama based on a serial rapist (at least 56 women over a 20 year period) and the ineptitude/disinterest of all those involved in trying to catch him.On BBC i-player, six episodes. Will report back later and hope it's better than The Body Next Door which I gave up on after just one episode
Sambre is very good.
Each episode focused on a different person within the 30 years it took to identify him.
Watched all six episodes over only two days and not many programmmes grab my attention to that level.

S01 of The Wire was great... but it went downhill fast after that imho.
I liked all of The Wire. One of my favourite TV shows of all time.

If you like brass bands, Brassed Off is a must see. Its about a colliery band during the 80s, when the Tories were closing the pits. I enjoyed it the 2nd time as much as the 1st.
Yeah, very decent film...and you don't really have to like brass band music to appreciate it!
Pete Postlethwaite...a great and sadly missed actor.
