Pierce Brosnan uses a Kerry accent for his role as Conrad Harrigan in MobLand. He has stated that he aimed to capture the "sing-song lilt" and "bite" of the Kerry accent, which he developed with the help of a dialect coach and by studying tapes of an unnamed Irish politician. However, his accent has received mixed reviews, with some critics and viewers describing it as inconsistent, exaggerated, or unconvincing, often noting it seems to shift between different Irish regional accents. Despite the criticism, Brosnan’s co-star Lisa Dwan, an Irish actress, defended his accent as "authentic" and fitting for the character’s volatile nature.

BLACK MIRRORNot really followed this on Netflix at all. Not sure why.But anyway, just watched the first one of the latest series. The one with the Irish lad from The IT Crowd. And it's possibly even better than Adolescence. Just says EVERYTHING about the world we live in. Makes you think. Makes you laugh. And makes you bawl your eyes out. Sheer genius.
Yep, absolute genius the first two of the new series, last series was pretty poor overall but this is a return to form

If you like Columbo (and who wouldn't? ) then you must watch Poker Face...excellent show starring Natasha Lyonne, the girl from Russian Doll and Orange Is The New Black.
First series of 10 episodes is on Now and the second series starts on 8th May.

This Town, BBC iPlayerWritten by Stephen Knight. Do Brummies still talk like Peaky Blinders? Not a fan of the Birmingham accent by the Peaky Blinders slant is quite interesting and I like it. I like the way those Viking women talk too.Excellent performance from David Dawson ( Ripper Street and King Alfred in Utred son of Utred The Last Kingdom ). Good cast many of whom were new to me plus Michelle Dockery.
Most people mistake the god-awful black country accent for Brummie, Alison Hammond an example of a real Birmingham accent
