Chelsea. They spent going on a billion to become a joke whereas Spurs spent less than £50 Crazy

That has got to be Chelsea by the proverbial.
They are sitting in 11th only 2 points above Palace in 12th with one game in hand. When you look at it from that point of view it puts it in perspective just what a truly diabolical season they are having. Looking at the remaining fixtures it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Palace finish above them.

You'd have got very decent odds before the start of the season on that happening.

Spurs might not get any more points this season which could put them below Chelsea! Not likely I know but the next 2 Spurs games are almost sure losses then they play Crystal Palace. Only 3 more games after those.

Spurs are the biggest laughing stock. Chelsea have all the parts in place (besides a striker) to mount a title challenge next season if they can get a proper manager. Spurs are an absolute shambles from top to bottom.

Chelsea need a new keeper, Silva is 39 in a few months. Neither full back can be relied on to start 30 games. They need a lot more than a new striker for a title challenge. They will have to offload valuable homegrown players to balance the books and get more players in.

Spurs do have a nice new stadium ...also, I think Everton might be getting a nice new stadium soon

I'll stick up for Spurs here, they're not a laughing stock, you have to be relevant to be a laughing stock.

Chelsea are just returning to the mid table mediocre comfort of their pre Abram days. Anyway this thread will be eclipsed by the annual 'Citeh get tonked in Europe day' possibly the last match of the season..........

Chelsea's turmoil a bit over stated imo..it's been funny to watch but they have every chance of being top 2 or 3 next season..

just requires a summer clear out to reduce squad size so that the manager can actually have some sense of control over players and build a bit of team spirit, a decent manager - which I certainly think Poch' is, any even half decent no.9 type which on the back of required player sales should be very possible and a full pre season...they'll also have the benefit of no meaningful European campaign if indeed any European campaign...

the one proviso to all that being adherence to FFP which seems to take a long time to come to light based on City's issues..

Chelsea  ...Spurs are pretty much around their average long term position in the top flight over the last 50 -60 years ,they have these ups and downs  ,but Chelsea a complete collapse , although before the millions Chelsea as we all know were a yo yo club  like Norwich ,cant remember them winning a trophy
