8/13 is probably decent value on Everton to go down

The fanbase, owners and players have gone toxic

Poor Frank is the least to blame imho. Best replacement they can get at the moment is Dyche who would struggle to turn it around. Moyes has bought himself another few games at WH.

Their No. 9 was posing with handbags and dresses last year as they fought relegation ffs

What needs to be said is their players are awful and thats their biggest problem....not the manager

When you spend as much as they have and Coleman (Great player though his career btw) is your right wing back, theres something very wrong

Report SirNorbertClarke January 21, 2023 10:20 PM GMT
Sack Fat Frank and then what?

The club will have put feelers out. Out of work Premiership managers and good Championship managers will have been approached. Rooney will have been approached.

If there was a willing and capable replacement he would have been hired.

Unless he resigns I can see Frank taking them down then getting sacked.

Personally I think he will engineer something and resign. He's desperate to be a manager but he's not thick.

Amazed at the 8/13. Has news leaked of a points deduction or something? Loads wrong at Everton, going right to the very top, but Lampard is an utter joke and if they got the likes of Dyche in then they'd surely get enough points to overhaul a few of the other awful teams down there.

An out of work manager like Dyche will bone up on struggling sides and Dyche will been sounded out?

Any experienced manager like Dyche will want to know about the support the board and owners provide for the manager.

It is embarassing and cringeworthy watching him continue trying to justify himself in interviews.
However, as I said about three months ago, when Potter was losing these same matches, the Chelsea players should be heartily ashamed of themselves.  I've never seen a manager defend well when off the ball in my life, or do anything else on the park during a match and blame should be attached where it clearly belongs.
Report CLYDEBANK29 April 27, 2023 12:36 PM BST
Potter didn't do great but won one more game than he lost and the team was unlucky under his stewardship.

FWIW.  Since Emery took over Villa in the PL their record is P20 W13 D3 L4 PTS 42.  Over the same period Chelsea's is P20 W4 D6 L10 PTS 18

Report CLYDEBANK29 April 27, 2023 12:51 PM BST
yeah they have.

FWIW under Gerrard Villa had a GD of -9 and a EXP GD of -4.

So the same players under Emery who have the best conversion rate in the PL, couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo under Gerrard and had the 4th worst conversion rate.
